That is what i think, even though i don't know what kusakabe gonna do but atleast from the raw translation why kusakabe thinks like "it is for real, i am gonna kill sukuna" if believe he doesnt have a chance to go for kill sukuna. Why i this important because base of kusakabe personality we see so far, he's not a person like to boast himself or anything like that. "new shadow style" doesn't hit gojo/mahito, it's SIMPLE DOMAIN that does. simple domain negates techniques within its effective radius. gojo's infinity won't work in there (unless gojo overpowers it, which he definitely would do). and mahito's invulernability is because he uses his CT to fix his body, which he can't do if simple domain negates idle transfiguration.

I don't mind that Sukuna is super strong, but Sukuna was already below Yuta CE level at this point. Chapters are invalidating the risks he already declares on himself. Is he surprising himself as the fight goes on? He tells himself that a Hollow Purple was lethal that late in the fight, proceeds to tank a hollow purple. Tells himself that Yuta and Him have the same amount of CE at their fight, proceeds to tank a domain powered Full power Jacob's ladder after being CE drained by Yuji then cuts Yuta in half and slashes the heck out of yuji and rika. Then proceeds to clobber the hell out of Maki who is relative to a fresh Yuta Also 120% of below 50% is not 50% also the precedents indicate that there is a requirement in pulling off a black flash

At this point it’s starting to be fair to criticize Gege for legitimate bad writing. Does it make any sense for Sukuna to glaze Maki for almost an entire chapter, and talk about how he was most excited to fight her, and then finish her with a single black flash? Literally sukuna declares maki the one person who truly challenges him, and then two pages later the fight is over. If gege is cooking something insane and I’m just not seeing it, then I’ll gladly eat my words when I’m proven wrong, but right now it feels to me like gege’s bad writing is starting to legitimately affect my enjoyment of the manga

I think he’ll show his worth maybe even show special grade potential but he’ll end up falling in battle.
