Okay, may I say that, at least for me, I do not care if your video has a specific purpose. Whether or not I "learn" something, I enjoy your content. Simply hanging out is really nice. You are so warm and welcoming and I've literally been missing your videos cause I feel like they're scarce recently. I know that you know that teaching is your purpose, but sometimes just hanging out and seeing the regular to do's is just as beautiful. I say this, stemming from the beginning of the video when you say your not sure if its "homesteady" enough to film. Every single video I've watched from you, I've learned something from, even if you weren't being intentional with the teaching. I friggin love ya girl

Probably the best Azure walk through I've ever watched! I've watched Becky's from acre homestead for awhile and we love her, but the first time we ordered through azure, I honestly had no idea what to expect... waiting in the parking lot, helping others unload while they help you, the fact that they repack things into bigger boxes... that's all stuff I really would have loved a heads up on back then. Also, after we moved states and set up our new drop, we found out it was at a cute one acre homestead situated in the middle of a town! And she had some of your stickers on her van, it was the greatest conversation.

Love the grocery haul Jess. Now as an empty nester and widow, I don't shop in bulk per se, but do participate in a seasonal food co-op for produce, Bountiful Baskets, here in AZ. I'm always surprised by the abundance of fruits and veges that are available, but don't reach the grocery stores due to "cosmetic" appearances. I look at food history and the pioneers of that time that would be incredulous at how wasteful it would be to throw away some rice, oatmeal and flour because of some weevils. My grandma would take her dry goods and put it in the oven before cooking it. Ok grandma, it's just pepper. Wink wink.

And don’t forget one of THE BEST perks of using a roaster…….when it’s hot weather, plug the roaster in OUTSIDE so it doesn’t cause a nasty fight with the air conditioner! Animals won’t normally bother it because it’s HOT to the touch but if you must, even placing it in the garage to use it is better than inside. Now when it’s COLD outside, that roaster serves as a great heater while being used. 😄

Azure Standard borrowed this idea from us 1970s Mother Earthers who organized organic co-ops in their towns. We had one and this is how it worked. Once a month we held a pot luck at the community center, usually with a guest speaker on subjects like beekeeping, etc. After the dinner, we sat around and went through the Erwon order list. Back then Erwon required a minimum order. Once we met that, the truck would stop at the community center and we would unload. So we were the ones who broke up boxes of raisons, 100lb bags of flour and oatmeal. People brought bags and boxes to pick up their orders. It was organic, cost effective and fun! We farmers and rural folks got to share a meal and catch up monthly. It was back then that I learned that a gallon glass jar would hold 12lbs of honey or molasses. I wish companies like Erwon or Walnut Acres would make a come back. These days in New Hampshire, we farmers co-op amongst ourselves. I buy organic honey from my neighbor, along with organic chicken and pork and so it goes. It is a help as we support our local farms and gardeners.

Jess, you asked if we would be interested in seeing more grocery hauls from you. For me, I enjoy your channel for mostly gardening, animal husbandry, seeing your dreams come true and for your devotionals. You have been open about your beliefs and it has been an instructional and interesting pleasure to see you demonstrating a faith driven life. The little glimpses into daily life other than the standard garden-homestead-faith is a nice addition, but are not the focus. Other content providers do grocery hauls-and they are interesting, but it is not necessarily something I want to see as a regular focus on your channel. If it fits in organically with your theme (like it did today), then I like it.

Hey Jess, I love these types of vlogs. Azure is something I would love to do when I'm able so your experiences and shopping tips are very helpful. It would be great to see you shop in town as well every once in awhile, late fall/winter is a great time to do it too. thanks for all you all do! xoxo

I love to see these because it all comes full circle. As someone currently with a 9-5 until I can find an alternative, I have to remember I can’t do everything. Even if I didn’t have the job, I still couldn’t do everything. Thanks for the reminder that it is ok!

I just had to place one more comment. Yes we love you! As you’re sitting there showing us the dried lemon slices and the currants… you are just so us or everything we want to be. You are a human, real and absolutely fun and adorable. Thank you thank you for being exactly who you are and the same goes with your entire family and extended family. You bring me so much joy🥰😘

I love how you laugh at yourself. I laugh with you. "I don't know why I bought these lemon slices." I am sure you will remember or think of another way to use them.

Date nut bars are a staple for our Christmas baking. My late mother-in-law made them every year and now I make them for the hubby. Gumdrop cookies are the other must have in our house for Christmas. I make them and ship them to my kids. Brings them lots of good memories.

I add shredded dry lemon peel to blueberry cake. It adds so much to the flavor.

I love videos like this! It helps to hear how others use things and store them. Azure has so much stuff, sometimes I don't realize they have things until someone shows their Azure haul.

I know, it is insane how much stuff they actually sell!

I love Azure so much - my delivery comes in next week. :) Having access to bulk - and trustworthy - ingredients has really been a massive game changer for us. I think sharing videos like this is just as valid as a gardening/homestead video. Without KZbin, I never would have heard of Azure. Thank you!

My elderly landlady came down with a virus last week, and right away I gave her a container of my frozen chicken stock. She added what she liked to it, and told me she lived on it all weekend to her great comfort. I knew a woman who baked so many pies (to sell) her Aroma roaster that she had to regularly replace them (the roasters), but she loved how they baked up in those. I gave mine to my mother, which benefits me since she'll let me borrow it anytime! Some things are worth having just for their aroma therapy, like those lemons! You can throw one in a cup of hot water, and just savor it slowly.

I like this. My parents were poor but always bought in bulk and gardened to save money. If you work for a resteraunt ask the owner about buying in bulk. My mom was a chef and her boss hooked her up with bulk food distrubutors on his company discount.

Yes, love to see not only what you are buying but why you're buying it. Make an ice ring and put a few of the lemons in it for a punch or put it on top of your tea after its steeped or just put it in a glass of water.

I really like the bulk food hauls, one, it helps me remember something I forgot on my list, and two, I am always hearing different wonderful ideas for things, that i hadn’t ever thought of before. Great video.

PS: Use those currants and raisins for a tea loaf. Made soaking the currants and raisins in tea overnight. I love using rooibos tea.

I dehydrate good lemons when I find them, I’ll slice them and dehydrate for when I’m having a hot cup of tea, it’s great for that! And looks so pretty in the jar 🫙😍

Yes, like the video. I have been an Azure Standard customer for years, 1992. That shows my age and 3 different cities. I seem to do the same, now why did I order that? 🤣 I love their salt, Redmond Real. Same as chocolate processing using inhuman practices, Becky on Acre Homestead researched it. I had no idea Azure ships nationwide. I use mylar bags and buckets with bay leaves, deters insects. Thanks for the rice freezing tip.

OMG this video is SO helpful!! Thank you! It may seem silly but explaining how you use things, scheduling orders, etc is super helpful for someone trying to juggle too much. This is a game changer for me :)

I absolutely love my roaster oven. I was getting frustrated with my crockpot for broth. I let mine go for 24-36 hours and have never had an issue. I’ve been super curious about Azure. I’ll check them out for my area. I love that you did one of these! Keep doing them!
