Hey Tommy, I asked you in another comment if you prefer the blue bag charcoal or lump. I did a rib cook with lump, turned out great , didn’t have that charcoal “tang” taste that charcoal can have but used 3/4 of a 18# bag. You were right! Burns too fast!!! Gonna stick with the blue bag! Lol

That's about right. That bottom rack sits very close to the heat assembly. I cook the most low and slow from the middle rack.
