Yes, at first I thought he was just telling them not to come into the opening/entrance of the box. But in watching further, I saw that he was directing them to the outside of a boundary zone that he has set. I saw in another (short) video that they’ve painted a white line boundary (box shaped) on the sidewalk/walkway that comes out from the entrance to the horse boxes. I’m assuming that will be the new restricted area that no one will be allowed to step into and get close enough to touch the horses anymore. If so, I’m all for it!
@micpurple2 ай бұрын
Much respect to the Kings Guard in the first half of the video, keeping the tourists in line with the no touching rule. You can see there are tourists that are in two minds about doing it anyway! It must be stressful trying to do your job, avoid those tourists that put themselves in harms way and keep your horse and yourself safe!

@@hermagerritsen4403 • Any form of physical barrier would pose a risk of injury to the horse, its rider, and the public. If you have ever seen any footage of these horses having a meltdown, then you should appreciate that. One of these horses typically weighs at least ½tonne, and could sustain serious injury to itself and its rider, not to mention any tourist standing next to any barrier, if it was thrashing around in a panic in a confined area. Additionally, Whitehall is a public thoroughfare and permanent barriers would not be allowed by Westminster Council.
