the majority of tourists understand english even if only slightly, you can see that in their responses to the troopers and the MoD police - most foreign tourists speak to each other in their own language as it is easier for them and most tour guide companies provide bi-lingual guides - in today's world, it wouldn't be easy for someone to travel internationally without some level of understanding of english or universal signage - imho

Palomino is quite popular in the USA. Especially in the western show ring. They have yellow (blonde) bodies with white mane and tail and are allowed to have limited white on their lower legs and face. While they are a color, not a breed, they do have a registery organization.
@margaretbamford7176Ай бұрын
The only way to guarantee 100% palomino foals is to breed a chestnut to a cremello therefore not a breed. Similar with buckskin - bay to cremello. It can be a bit more complicated than that. Don't make colour that important in breeding, just choose away from deleterious colours.
@TracysavedbyChristАй бұрын
I used to get that confused too till a person I knew bought a palomino halflinger. Was a shock to me at the time. 😂
@margaretbamford7176Ай бұрын
Haflingers are chestnut with flaxen (light colour) mane and tail. Other horses can have this colour too, or be chestnut with chestnut manes and tails, but not many are the colour of a chestnut nut (that colour is called liver chestnut). The breed with the most variety of colours is the Icelandic horse.

There’s literally a sign showing a picture of the horse and hand with a big red circle and a line through it…. Which is pretty standard to say DONT TOUCH in any language, so even if they don’t understand English, that sign underneath is right there and obvious with its meaning. That’s just people being ignorant 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️. Maybe they need those signs bigger and on both sides. Honestly it’s just respect, it’s a working animal. People know not to touch guide dogs - same principle with these horses, they are working.
@dianekruger5977Ай бұрын
Tourists from other countries, especially Asian countries, etc., probably claim they don't speak, read or understand English, and use that excuse for not following posted rules. But people from English speaking countries such as America, have no excuse. They break the same rules while visiting there.
@robbystewart1842Ай бұрын
@@BCHZA I agree with you totally. People chose to ignore the sign and do as they please however it is up to the Trooper to uphold these signs as well as the white painted lines. People may choose to be ignorant but the guard is not. The horse is every bit his “soldier brother” as much as a human is and he needs to do his duty and protect his fellow soldier. It’s so frustrating for the guard to be aware of what’s going on and be silent.

I totally agree that the troopers can shout if need be as people DONT listen or assume they are entitled to do as the please. A lot of these people are clueless when it comes to animals especially horses. As someone who has worked in the equine industry over four decades I have seen horrific injuries due to stupidity. Horses have the power to kill us , they are flight animals, their instinct when they feel threatened or sense danger is to run as fast as they can through whatever happens to be in their path at this point the rider would have zero control as the horse is in a blind panic , hence the horrible accident with the loose horses some months back . Love your commentary such an easy person to listen to and you gave some great one liners. 😂😂

I am so delighted to see your video popped up my screen.Been waiting since I know you were not there last sunday.I just find your channel so interesting and amazing and I just feel a friendly atmosphere when you’re talking.Thank you for always making my day and so grateful for the effort you are doing for us even though the weather is not so good. The new trooper is obviously nervous and its natural that he doesn’t have yet confidence to do what he must do.Hopefully he will be familiar with his work and will learn a lot being a Horse Guard.And because the tourists are being controlled by most of our Kings Guard it is absolutely becoming better each day.The rule of white line is very effective.More tourists have many chances to take pictures because the area is now wider than before when everyone wants to be near the horse and its taking time for they pet and mauled the horses.I am so satisfied and happy watching each of your videos.Take care John,you are such a good man.Your friend from the land of the rising sun.

John you crack me up…”this one came from jail” “this one came from AA” and the older gentleman with the walking pole “this one just climbed Everest” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I think ALL guards should be told to enforce the rules it's too confusing for the tourons when some don't say anything, like earlier it just takes one to go in the box then other lemings follow.

I bet even if they painted KEEP OUT in the box, people would still stand over the line..
@PaulaJoDavisАй бұрын
Absolutely because the rules don't apply to them, right?

I think I shall try to remember Bombardier's name by calling the gorgeous creature "The Blonde Bombshell".

Its very unnerving to see so many tourists absolutely disrespectful to the Kings Guards Horses. Touching the horses and Guards should be dealt with by the Police. Maybe that will get the message across to all.

As it's not a security or terrorism issue it's nothing to do with MOD police !
