It’s a parents job to prepare their kids for adult life, if you’re a good parent you should want your kids to learn to be independent from a young age and again that’s not cooking at 10 or riding subway at 10.

I am 32, married and have 3 kids. I am not american so in my country college is free, no debt or payment. I went to College, I met my husband there, married at 21, got my degree, and I have been working till I was 27 as a music teacher. My and my husband didnt have money as we are both musicians so we had to both work. Also with no kids, I dont think its fair that just one person works. Now I left my job to take care of my kids. I plan to homeschool my kids till they are 7. In some year when my kids go to school and are 7, I will work again, because when your kids are older its good for them too to share life with others kids, learn to read etc. What I mean is, you can't do both things at once, work and be a mother when your kids are little. That is absolutely true. But you can definitely have a degree and study, and simply stop working when you have kids, or simply put your kids first and your job as a secondary thing. Maybe... 80 per cent of my friends met their spouse in College , as well as my own parents.. I dont see how it stops you from having a family
@Yulia.ambika Жыл бұрын
I perfectly understand this feeling that is why I dont work while my kids are little. But once your kid is 7 or 10 years old, your kid can't be ( for their own mental health) 24/7 with you. Specially in their teens if a kid is not able to do stuff without their mother, its gonna be very bad for their mental health. When your kid is 13, he will need to play sports, have social interactions , etc. What would you do then? Follow him around? You cannot have a corporate job as a mother, something which requires to be the center of your life and something you cannot take a 10 years break from. But if you have a smaller job, you can absolutely study. As a european, I studied for free , and I met my husband there. I am a musician and I play harp, I used it for my kids to fall asleep! Sometimes you can study something and those skills can help you be a better mother too, by for example learning patience or discipline within yourself. Its very suffocating for a teenager to feel their mother had nothing going on in their life. They need support but they also need to know they dont carry at such young age the huge responsibility to cover your fulfillment in life. There are so many decades in your life when your kid is not a baby. What do you do them? I do not believe in daycare or kindergartens. I believe its incredibly damaging for a kid to be left at a center. A kid should be with their mother, otherwise they will be wounded emotionally. I am not bringing my kids to day care and they wont go to school till they are 7. In Europe its not easy to not bring your kid to school till 7 but still I think younger than 7 is too little to be left on a school. A women should never work when their kids are little, I agree with it and that is super important. But there are so many years in the life of a women , when her kids are not kids! I think people is forgetting that

Almost like she's implying that all women are meant to be mothers and, once they have children, whatever wants they may have for their own lives become meaningless.

Fuentes seems articulated but he is actually wrong on many points. Historically, women have always worked, often in roles like farmers, nurses, seamstresses, domestic workers, and artisans, frequently alongside their husbands in family-run enterprises. The idea that most women in the past were “stay-at-home” mothers is a myth, propagated both by certain radical feminists and by radical conservatives. In reality, only a small, wealthy minority could afford to rely on a single income. For most families, the labor of women-and sometimes even of children-was essential for financial stability. Women, like men, had to balance work with parenting duties because their household’s economic survival depended on it. Thus, the modern claim that it’s impossible to work and be a mother because it would mean “two full-time jobs” is historically inaccurate.

@@Yulia.ambika Ok, but you have had to sacrifice what like 11 years at least, the issue is that those are 11 years that you could not put into futhering a career, in 99% of the world where a degree isnt free, it makes no fiscale sense to acrue that much debt (not that it ever is for the majority of degrees and an even greater majority of the degrees womne choose) for 6 years of work and then try to get back into the job market after a decade plus without any experience. Not to mention the ever increasing difficulty one will face, and the risks to the baby of having kids at an older age. The issue is that these women will focus on their work and say 'Ill have a family when im older or when im ready or whatever and they wait until 30 or 40 to start having children, and in these instances no these women cannot have it all.

@@jaga887 to me it have not been a sacrifice I dont see it like that. I agree with what you said you cannot have a very very successful high paying career and also have kids. But that is what I was saying. It doesnt have to be one extreme or the other. You dont have to be either a CEO, or a woman who never had any other thing than kids. You can have family as a priority and still study something , and do some job not as a your life priority but as a thing you do on the side. Also a degree is free in way more than the 1 per cent of the world , in almost all Europe is free, and in many countries in southamerica like Argentina is free too. The huge debts you have in America just to study something doesnt happen in most other countries. If you have kids at 25, you have 7 years from 18 to 25 where you could learn something or develop other things as a human being, and that would not make you a bad mother or make you have kids that are sick. Also sorry, but having kids at 30 is not too late or supose any danger for your kids. I actually never even met a mother younger than 30 other than myself... If that was true, my country would have no population😅 Millennials and Gen Z would not exist as nobody has parents who had them in their 20s. You cannot have both things as a priority in life. That doesnt mean you have to not leave the house ever for your whole adult life. I doubt Ben Shapiro's wife is a bad mother, and she is a doctor. Probably her profession is not her priority , but still a woman can develop some things in her life.and also have kids. Its crazy to thing that from 18 to 40, you should be closed home otherwise you are not a good mother. I struggle to understand the levels of extremism you have in the US and why you cannot see normal middle points and nuances, instead of very radical extremes which doesn't fit with most people's actual reality And again, I don't even know how would I have met my husband if I didn't study. Its not even about studying or not, but you have to have something going on in your life as a person, otherwise you may put a heavy weight on others to fullfill your life completely , and that is not very healthy, to have no interests and nothing going on in your life at all. And that has nothing to do with not prioritizing your family. I am the first one who advocates for women to stay home when they have kids. But to say they cant even study something or do something in this world when the kids grow up? I have to believe there must be other motivations behind those ideas, motivations which sadly may have nothing to do with wishing the best for kids or promoting good family life

A woman with a college degree, an established successful career earning a significant income. But she knows she wouldn't be willing to settle for someone who earns less than ear or is less successful than her... so the more she builds up her resume and financial portfolio, the smaller and smaller the pool of men are who'd out-earn and out-perform above her level. A fit, attractive 6'< man making $150K+ and no previous marriage? That's like 0.4% of the US male population. And even if she hit a wall and in desperation became willing to settle, no guy is going to want an older 37-year-old lady with a fiercely independent disposition. At that point, she's a liability for a late-20s bachelor. You cannot have it all. Saying yes to a Coke means saying no to a Pepsi.

The fact that this society is so narcissistic and envious to teach young people that they can “have it all” really is irresponsible and damaging. That being said, you can easily arrive at this conclusion without the bullcrap religious authoritarian “ you go to hell” childish argument.

Did Nicolas Fuentes was raised by a full time mom? We have 2 options: He was raised by a full time mother and the mother raised a big tu-rd or she was not a full time mother and she was so bad at time and priorities management and little Nick grew up traumatized and wants us to be losers like his mother 😊

Does anyone want to talk about what women without education do when their husband is abusive, cheats, wont work, gets injured, or wants a divorce? 52% of child support ordered by the courts goes unpaid! The men against women and education are the same ones who do not want women with children to have any socialized healthcare, food stamps, or childcare. Once you are divorced you will have to work, but it is a whole lot easier to find a job if you have an education. I work at a food bank and see it everyday. We should be talking about the rape, incest, and date rape statistics in this country also. One in six girls, teens, and women are sexually assaulted in the US. Only 3 out of 100 rapist will ever spend a day in jail. If a girl, teen, or women does not take the morning after pills "prescription abortion" immediately 48hrs then they have to choose to raise a child not planned or abort. Without an education you and your unplanned child will likely live in poverty. I would imagine with Trump, and a Republican Senate any help with raising a child as a single mother will be none.

I got one problem with what Nick says- go to confession. Idk how Catholics get THAT from the Bible😶 it literally says there is ONE way to the Father, through the SON, He is the ONLY mediator, says that too, just for clarification. Christ Himself also says do not call any man "Father or Rabbi" those 2 titles mean the same as in giving undue authority to men. Oddly enough, it is both Catholicism and Judaism that gave themselves the authority over God's word to interpret or even change, literally both have declared that& done it.
@moisesmuro456928 күн бұрын
Their is verse that you can say that God says you can "confess" with one another,also catholicism and Judaism are nothing alike
