I think it's great that this organization has tried to get children involved with the conservation of ecosystems. The fact that they have the opportunity to learn about oceanography among other things could possible help them decide to pursue marine biology or other related careers. I think this is a great idea.

@Caprican28 - There are lots of opportunities for college students, such as internships. There are also lots of opportunities to do field work like the program called Semester at Sea from Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute.

Is there anything like this for college students? I'm guessing internships is the next best thing? I know I like Earth sciences but just not sure where to specialize because I lack this kind of exposure :/
