I love the allegory of the Creator being the "Director of life", and have to admit that I am beginning to understand that I am but a player on this amazing stage, and learning "how to partner with Him" through this incredible wisdom of kabbalah. Thank you for this teaching.

This is all the more reason not to take biblical stories literally because they are allegorical in a spiritual sense. Even as a sufi, I honor the jewish or in this case the kabbalist interpretation to a high regard because the torah is their domain, they know the language better than we do. Sometimes I find other muslims or christians ignorant and arrogant for claiming that their literalist interpretation is the only way...

As Michael laitman said, thinking about the writtings literally is merely but a childish story.

The Flood/Deluge was a literal historical event that was recorded across multiple cultures and regions, not just in Torah

It's dangerous to think that the Bible is nothing but allegories. It is rather an account of what happened on Earth in relation to God's interaction with the human race. There are minor problems that arose because the Bible was copied and translated over many generations. But we know about these differences, and they are very minor.

There is another piece of evidence that most have forgotten. King Ashurbanipal stated in an ancient writing that he knew the language of the Sumerians before the Flood. This indicates that the Flood being mentioned was very massive and wiped out the people of the city-states of Sumer and the Mesopotamian area.

Enjoyed this.... (the thought came to me, "Noah and his were 'born again'. ---- From a different womb. This one being the ark.

Saying that the embryo annuls itself allowing its development? Are you saying that the embryo has an ego that it annuls? The time of being an embryo is hidden from us even though it is our experience. How does it help us learn to annul? Is it accessible to us?

Noah is the knower of his day. Born again into the ark with all his positive and negative animalistic qualities. Emerging nine (Jewish) months later from the water into a new world. The 8 souls together representing the original 8 cells of the human body. This allegory is spot on and as we are now living 'as in the days of Noah', we too must expect to be cocooned for a time, to reajust, before entering into our new world.
