Amazing! Brought back instantly my memories of playing klezmer and meeting Alan- a lovely man as well as awesome musician- in Oxford many years ago.

an original way interpretation of the klezmer genre, trills, ornaments are from there. Klezmer music ennobled by a professional high class sound

Actually, there is already a "noble" tradition of world-class klezmer violinist in the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, but most people have not heard those old recordings. They can be found online, however. When Itzhak Perlman first heard those old recordings, it profoundly changed his understanding of what "klezmer music" is. I know because i was there :-)

Hi Clara. The names of the pieces are at the beginning of the video, but there are no written notes available. At most there are melodies written out, which knowledgeable musicians use to improvise their performance, just like Noah and I did here.
