This is an incredible version that I just happened upon today. Absolutely stunning. I'm playing this song for the first time at a Brunch tomorrow. I have a female vocalist accompanying me because I can't come close to singing like this, lol. I experimented with the chords a bit and found that playing it in drop D simplifies it a little. You can descend the bass line without sliding the chord shapes as much. It eliminates alot of the the string scratch, but also loses some of the flavor of this version. Anyhow, we'll see how it goes.
