I did it growing up because I was a little nerd and a teacher tried to correct me once so I made a point of using neutral singular pronouns for everyone I could in all my writing. Then my friends started slowly coming out and I got into the habit of referring to everyone's partner as They and Partner. I called everyone partners long before it picked up in my city and it still catches a weird look now and again, but I think people get it now. Even hetero couples don't want to be called boy and girl friends as it feels a little juvenile and unserious for adults.

However, the biggest contribution is the gender stereotypes, of how a woman has to take care of her whole family including her husband. Dear Noah, I have watched your videos non-stop for like 5 days. How did I come across your channel? I was starting to feel gender dysphoria and questioning who I really am. Who am I? I've always had mostly guy friends and recently I had this weird dream about my sister getting into a school for girls, but is extremely hard to get into, me and my sister got registered for this school, but only my sister got in, and then throughout the dream I started to look more and more masculine, when I woke up from this dream I was confused and looked up the meaning, the most common meaning was that I was insecure about my body and want to be a guy( I technically am a guy..on the inside) But ever since then, about 2 weeks to a month ago I've been doing my research on trans guys and realized that it is me. I have been trying to subtly hint that I'm trans to my gay uncles but it's not working. Any advice for a baby trans? -Alex(he/him) Edit: I finally came out after a couple of days and they were very supportive at first and it's been about 5 months since I came out and they pretend like my name, Alex, is just a nickname and don't use my pronouns or my name around my other family friends and now I have a friend that is a guy that doesn't use my name when talking about me but considers me his "chick friend" which makes me feel uncomfortable. What do I do in this situation as a trans guy with social anxiety?

What impact is it having on other's lives? As long as someone is not pushing their agenda on others then I'm fine with it, not that my opinion counts as the end all be all. I don't care if it is any of the above just don't push it on me. Educate me if I get it wrong but don't give me an entire essay on it.

17:14 I literally correct everyone’s grammar in school. I’ve been known for that since 4th grade. Someone says “me and ___”? I correct them since its” ___ and I”. Someone says “more bigger” (or something along those lines)? I correct them because it should just be bigger, not _more_ bigger. Using they/them pronouns for a single person is totally valid. When someone says, “oh, my friend did something really weird yesterday” you would respond with “what did **they** do?” This girl in the TikTok is the one who needs to speak better English and follow grammar rules, not us.

The thing is, at least in Spain, these kind of guys tend to get a lot of girls to like them. Because of damn gender roles women tend to like assholes because there's a tendency of going for them and try to fix them as to fulfill some kind of need of feeling needed and useful because they grow learning to help others and find their validation that way. It's pretty fucked up for them because it leads to self destructive tendencies in relationships, over exceeding themselves, not having good boundaries and being stuck in toxic relationships. And the last years that has gotten worse for some with the trap culture that kind of romantize sex even more and with that, validation through being sexually atractive, and in that culture men kind of follow the sadboy/fuckboy stereotype. Obviously not all of them are assholes and not girls are biased by this, right now there are also more women than ever that are aware of those things and that are building healthier relationships, but it makes me sad to see how there's a counterpart that is getting worse :S
