He has also opened a new chapter in his life, recently celebrating a one-year anniversary with his new wife, Valeria Wasserman Chomsky, his second marriage. Jamie Dimon He replied to me in 2006, I was so happy and proud after getting a reply from him! Sadly, I did not check my email that often and yahoo had reset my account, so I lost the reply. I have thought about emailing again, but then I read Mr Chomsky spends many hours in one evening replying to emails, and I am sure he has more important emails to answer. But yes, he does write back :)

I think Chomsky is a type of man, that really attracts women. More than any rockstar.
@simplehealthyliving4681
@simplehealthyliving4681 7 жыл бұрын
Women attracted to Mr. Chomsky are either very principled and are not shallow or are attracted to how widely adored and revered Mr. Chomsky is (which is indicative of a specific type of hypergamy - i.e. not necessarily strong attraction to wealth or looks). Or it's a combination of a little bit of both. So, it's an incredibly deep thing worthy of respect if it's the first scenario and a mixed bag if it's the second or the third scenario. In any case, as long as there's love and intimacy, it's more or less good, regardless of how much of a role unequal hypergamy from women's side plays a role in initially establishing a heterosexual relationship. Women being hypergamous is just a sad consequence of societal programming and the tendency of the human mind to easily give in to shallow materialistic desires.

I wonder what would be said if a 45yr old Brazilian guy married an 85yr old jewish white woman sitting on a fortune... It's wonderful nobody does that in Noam's case, fantastic actually!! It's a valid point, none-the-less i think; let's us reflect on where society (in the US, anyway) is at, in terms of equality. Bravo, Prof Chomsky; to you and your lovely wife and new horizons!

Noam is right; he didn't talk about love, though I'm sure love means a great deal to him. but we talk about love too much. we're spoiling it's feeling within us. every person wants to express what he/she thinks about love which are mainly cliche speeches they've heard before. most people don't even know what love is or means. but we often treat love too causally, like the casual ways we would speak about potatoes. How about if we just leave love in the box of mysteries and keep waiting to see what it would do to us spontaneously next? like in the mystery box of magicians, each time something new and exciting comes out of it.

I have to wonder what kind of father Noam Chomsky was. I tend to think he is wrapped up in his work and thinking so much that he doesn't have much time or understanding for his children, wife or even himself. And what would happen if the children are no so civilized and selfless as he thinks they should be? In any case I know Chomsky would be well meaning, but it would certainly be interesting to have a peak at the real man, his real behavior, off-mike for example. I don't think he would be that different from how he is in public, but it would be interesting and significant.
