@@TheoriesofEverything Respected British anthropology professor, Dr. Edward Dutton, has demonstrated that “LEFTISM” is due to genetic mutations caused by poor breeding strategies. To put it simply, in recent decades, those persons who have leftist traits such as egalitarianism, feminism, socialism, multiculturalism, homosexuality, perverse morality, and laziness, have been reproducing at rates far exceeding the previous norm, leading to an explosion of insane, narcissistic SOCIOPATHS in (mostly) Western societies.

Moreover Dutton is a racist (not to mention homophobe and anti-semite) who claims to believe that people with blonde hair and blues eyes are more intelligent, and has written articles for neo nazi publications has given speeches for white nationalist groups trying to prepuate scientific racism. Dutton even ridiculously tried to pretend that left-handed people are pedophiles. I would be very careful quoting such a person.

One only needs to look at the hatred and complete incompetence coming from Joe Biden's White House and Nancy Pelosi's Congress to know the US, under this administration, is so low, the country must reach up... to touch bottom..... Even so, your description of "leftism" and the reason for it, according to Edward Dutton... smacks of the very kind of despicable, hateful insane judgmental behavior he assigns to those on the left... Professor Chomsky, first let me thank you for your vast contributions. I have listened to you for many years. As for question 3, concerning interest in consciousness being a recent development, true in the West. However, in the East consciousness has been studied by many people for thousands of years. Interestingly, Sanskrit has a number of different words for consciousness. I apologize if this was off topic or misinterpreted. And finally, I would love to hear Professor Chomsky's thoughts on Sanskrit, anything would be valued. 🙏

@@14DANESSJ Chomsky has lost his mind in old age - who are you kidding ? Chomsky has spent a career railing against government taking advantage of any and all crises , whether real or inflated . Yet Chomsky supported all LOCKDOWN measures and summarily ignored the HUGE protests all over the world . Whether in the U.S , Canada , Europe , etc , the Anti-Lockdown and Anti-Jab Mandate protests were larger than any protests against the 2003 illegal invasion of Iraq … yet Chomsky was more than comfortable to minimize these very real protests . Who the hell are you kidding ? And in regards to your horrible comparison between the Polio jab and this Rona vax I would point out that hesitancy against the Polio jab was very real . Most Americans avoided the Polio jab for the first 5 years after its introduction , for roughly similar reasons and concerns that exist today with this new jab . Americans were not lining up early on , to receive the Polio jab - and there were certainly no extreme Polio Jab mandates back in 1955 . It was a choice , as it should be . Chomsky now believes that vaccine mandates are a bit harsh , but he completely tolerates certain punishment for this hesitancy … Chomsky advocates for removal of your Mobility Rights ( which is a human right ) by government edict , for anyone refusing this novel , unproven Rona jab . Chomsky is the worst kind of hypocrite and I’m glad this fraud has finally been exposed for the gatekeeper he has always been 👍 Read a book before you choose to stand on a pulpit and provide us with a deluded sermon ✌️

@Holmes Monaco Yes, I am talking about a mandate. They don't starve if they follow the rules that everyone else follows. There is no way to have a society or civilization without rules. This is a matter of life and death, so yes there should be consequences for not following the rules. Obviously there can be exceptions but for the most part you follow the rules defined by society if you want to live in society. That's the deal. We all live by that. Noam never says we shouldn't enforce vaccination. He said we shouldn't FORCE vaccination, but we should have vaccine mandates, such as for going to school, concerts and the like. My opinion is that the video thumbnail text is misleading on purpose, and doesn't represent what Noam really thinks, and is pretty much just quote mining. Even worse, I dont even think he ever used the word ENFORCE in that context, he certainly said FORCE.

Furthermore left anarchism is even less fitting for such insane totalitarian biofascism. I'm no leftist but I can stand by leftists who actually adhere to some of the core principles such as desiring liberation for those less fortunate than one's self and sadly that even should include those evil conspiracy theorist Trump supporters who would prefer not to wear a mask or get vaccinated. @@straightastudent683 anarchism is a philosophy rejecting unjust hierarchies. A society in agreement of providing safety for the participants is just in taking measures to ensure the safety of their community. @@thesayerofing If it was a philosophy rejecting unjust hierarchies then putting vaccinated people higher up on a hierarchy than unvaccinated people would be rather unjust if you ask me. Maybe that makes me a minarchist or something but as someone who regards voluntary association as a societal ideal it would make just as much sense to make an unvaccinated mandate. Compliance junkies are the left equivalent to right wingers who use crime statistics to justify police brutality and systemic racism. Data and statistics are classist.

@@straightastudent683 Take care to look at this issue objectively. I am rejecting your premise that a hierarchy between vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals exists and or is even relevant, and would add that whether or not a "mandate" is associated with a government body or not is also irrelevant. An anarchist philosophy is not absent of individual accountability, unvaccinated communities and individuals cultivating and spreading a quickly evolving and deadly virus without taking acceptable measures are in fact accountable for bringing direct harm and loss of well being to members of the community and society at large. A social "mandate" or structure of some kind (and yes, in our current socioeconomic structure, through institutions known as governments) to address individuals and communities directly threatening society with harm and loss of well being, and hold them accountable, is expediently appropriate.

From what I’ve heard from him is that He criticizes Mystical and Dogmatic beliefs, Fundamentalism as well, but he also recognizes the holes that Religion fills in society. Noam has obviously thought a great deal about many things. I dont think it flies to be too reverent of someone to the point of swallowing Noam's ideas without chewing, due to his position. He is clearly partisan, no surprise there, but his fairly brief comments on the mandates where somewhat poor. He appears to be swallowing whole the data we are being given without query..those that question authority on this are a part of some weird social phenomenon..! Lazy thinking maybe on his part, or fear has got to him too. sometimes its better to keep quiet, and sometimes not.

Respected British anthropology professor, Dr.

Ofc, if there is a vulnerability at either the neurologic or genetic level that's being exploited, then it means that even people who would not normally be susceptible to narcissistic bs can have their shxt hijacked. Why do you suppose big tech, govt, soc media and mainstream media, etc, invests so much time and energy into controlling information flows using censorship and misinfo, fake news, etc? It's because they know they cannot just sit there and rely on genetic mutations to have their way with hunanity.

For example, right wingers like Bush or Blair were for multiculturalism Most radical leftists in history were not. Bush was also Lazy. Trump is lazy. Che was homophobic, he killed gay people. Marx was not egalitarian. Proudhon, Mahkno, Nechaev, Lucy Parson, and a million european left radical partisan fighters of the 20th century, or even Ho Chi Min were not lazy. Most left wing movements worldwide have been of self organized groups of the hardest working members of society-industrial workers, sailors, miners, farmers, soldiers, -so that is not lazy. Many early liberal feminists were homophobic and pro capitalist, and the above mentioned Blair and Bush were pro gay rights. Just look at Bakunin, Einstein, MLK, Lucy Parsons (she was a traditionalist on gender too), Huey Newton, Tolstoy, these are very different personality types, physical types, there is no left wing type.

Should Noam also be required to 'debate' Ben Shapiro, Alex Jones, Dave Rubin, Milo Yiannopoulos, and all the other clowns of the intellectual dark web? As he says, he has a limited amount of time. @@ast453000 ---This is the misconception people have perfectly displayed. You put Harris in the same boat with dave rubin, alex jones, milo and ben shapiro. There is very little comparison possible between these people. First of all, The IDW is a made up term coined by one of the weinstein brothers; meant as a funny comment. it never was a formal group. Sam harris never said he was part of any group and even those other "members" never said there was such a thing. Actually most people who use this term to describe a group are those opposed to all these people and like to lump them together for simplicity sake. Also, the IDW was never used to describe 50% of the people you mentioned so you got that wrong too. Furthermore, I've seen chomsky arrogantly misrepresenting Harris to an extraordinary degree. It actually should be Harris who has the right to say that he does not want to waste time on chomsky, rather than the other way around. But Sam is too open minded and perhaps to forgiving to do that.
