Yes it is underated but did you know Little Walter is the only harp player to be enducted into The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame i believe in 2005?

blair mcarthur People believe is a simple sounding toy instrument that is very easy to play and can't offer much. We do know is not like that.

Persons complaining about Christelle playing loudly - have they considered that she may have actually been situated quite close to the "roving" microphone and would therefore appear to be playing louder? They are all great players and I definitely appreciate their skills.
@BIGNizzy1411 жыл бұрын
i dont know much about harmonicas but its clear to see that they all have their own style, and they all blend so perfectly its amazing

I've watched this like a hundred times and it still makes my jaw drop
@Crich17 жыл бұрын
Was a really nice moment, had Jay under my wing that summer and was in the room for this. Brendan's last name is Power (not Powers), he's originally from New Zealand (now Germany) and an old master of many styles including some really cool Celtic and beat box stuff. The three kids (now in their mid/late 20's) were all amazing, you can hear long time SPAH fixture "The Santa Claus of the Blues" Buzz Krantz expressing his delight in the background at various points of the video.

Not many people type in "ultimate harp jam" in their search bars. Nor are they as accurate in spelling it out when head-butting their keyboards in order to find random videos. I cam across this video when I was listening to some Charlie Musselwhite -- so glad that I found this though! These guys are amazing.

@slimandtheperkolators31549 жыл бұрын
pgouldburn Its not your fault man, they're using harmonicas tuned for playing in a minor key. Guys like Jason Ricci do amazing stuff with them. Pretty sure Jason tunes his own, but you can actually buy them set that way beforehand.

comments appreciated Elizabeth - I will look for Richard's post. Yeah I was amazed at how good the iphone 3Gs captured this. I also have a mini DV HD canon that I didn't bring. ** The nice thing about the phone is that is is less intrusive than a bigger camera - and it's always there. The tricky part was keeping my hand steady and held up for that long - not knowing when or if it was ever going to end - at 3 in the morning ! **shot with the HD cam with a minor special effect in editing

I get the feeling that I'm one of the only outsiders listening to this. This music is absolutely mindblowing. Your chemistry and acoustic swagger are top notch. I am confident that NWA would be proud of this shit. You bridge boundaries musically, and, therefore, otherwise. If ever there was a random fan that was so enthralled by your sounds that you took at least one bit of appreciation to make you smile in the middle of the day, let this be that moment and let me be that fan. Thanks.
