NOASB for the Dub. For many reasons- but the #1 is that I’d honestly feel comfortable passing out anything GAMB played to my high school. Most of The songs NOASB executed I FELT was more collegiate difficulty . None of GAMB’s songs had movement like “Grease”. GAMG SHOULD be loud- it’s damn near 400 of them. Where was the power and intensity. There’s a difference. GAMB was great (from a band “fan” point of view); but from a I actually marched and I know what was challenging and impressive ) it’s NOASB for the win.

To be honest, I was thinking this was NOASB 8-7 GAMB before this stream but now after the stream, it was REALLY close. I was gonna give deduction to GAMB on Modern Day but counter it thanks to the tubas 😅. The official result for this battle has declared, I will have to give this W to NOLA since they played less deductions and had less early horns playing. For NOASB, they do have some unbalance from the bones and trumpets, but the arrangements can kick some ass. Their execution and raw power is wild like a goddamn beast thanks to those tubas, Mellos and Euphos w a lil bit of trumpets on some songs.🔥 As for GAMB, most of the cranking songs have early horns playing on the Fallen and Modern Day, but they too had a good arrangement repertoire. Their trumpets have good presence but the Mellos were sometimes not heard in songs like Under the Moon. Overall the final score is NOASB 8.25-8.0 GAMB. NOASB had the upper edge w less deductions over GAMB but GAMB did counter several deductions as I stated earlier. NOASB gonna need to get their songs together against MMB, otherwise MMB will rule this season.

Ngl… one thing ima give to GAMB is that them folks changed the whole dynamic of summer band, for what I feel, the better. Every year since they entered it’s been a new sense excitement, not saying that wasn’t before but having another power house aside NOASB, MMB & MAAB just makes things a little more exciting imo. But ngl, them folks got humbled this summer. They sound good but they lack that edge, that why they getting done like that. If GAMB were like 35% smaller I can almost guarantee you this conversation would be different. Them folks just too big and the sound not matching…
