Man.... I might be alone on this, but I truly enjoyed Mist of Pandaria. This lore brings back good memories

I joined in MoP, in 5.2, and I'm pretty sure I spend almost the entire rest of the expansion faffing around in the starter zones and trying new classes, and it was only when I pre-ordered MoP that I got a Max Level character. It's a mighty shame, I probably would have loved the MoP leveling from 85-90. I still get nostalgia listening to MoP's character select music..

Shaohao was not free of all emotions though. he never rid himself of Pride. His Pride is what cloaked Pandaria, Pride that they did not need anyone else

so why did the mists dissipate?
@edward1132886 жыл бұрын
he did rid of it though. what cloaked Pandaria is the Mist, and Pandaren called the mist "Breath of Shaohao". thus Shaohao give his breath through the land, showed his humility by giving his life just to give Pandaren time to learn the lessons of the lands.

Thanks for this, I main MW Monk and although we've been having problems as of late I still enjoy it, I started playing WoW in WoD which was a mistake I think, MoP has all this awesome lore and Shaohao sacrifice was so heartfelt, I have to say cheers to all the healers, the unsung heroes of Warcraft for doing what they do, and cheers to all the monks willing to accept the gift and burden of Sheilun.

The power to heal PUGs while they pull too many mobs. That's great man your voice was truly meant for storytelling.

I've been levelling a gnome mistweaver and really been getting into healing seriously for the first time ever. (I've been playing since the end of BC). And I must say I love the lore of Shaohao and Sheilun. And I like the concept of the staff not as an overwhelming juggernaut of power, but as a simple, subtle companion on the road. I mean yes, the other artifacts are great. But Sheilun seems to be more a compliment to the wielder and the wielder is not so horrendously dependent on its power to achieve what they aim to achieve. I mean we look at the DK artifacts and they are pretty much soul bound to them. Same in many respects with the Ashbringer. Sheilun doesn't promote such crippling dependency on it.

This was awesome! Pandarion lore is relaxing as hell, can't wait for the lore man.

I really liked the story of this one. The history of this weapon *is* its power, not fireballs or enchanted blades. What makes it legendary is what it has been used for. It really is the legendary weapon of Pandaria. While some would sell their souls to obtain the artifacts in this realm, for this one, the force behind this staff is *you.*

I think Nobbel is just about the only reason I got into WoW's lore. I joined in MoP, so I had a lot to catch up on, and it was very intimidating to see just how much history I "had" (my guildies at the time pretty much had it as a requirement to know WoW's lore for some reason) and without Nobbel I probably would have given up, seeing how easily he makes it to watch, and how entertaining it is to watch (That voice is amazing, and that's coming from a completely hetero point of view). Great to see he still has loads of content to talk about. Lorewalker Cho truly is Nobbel's spirit animal!

I quite liked the monk class hall lore and most of the campaign was pretty good, except the ending which felt... rushed. But I might have a wrong perspective on it as I had spent quite a long time between starting it all up and finishing it up so might have forgotten to much.

They are very simple imo
@Subject758 жыл бұрын
they take more time to get used to than other healers. they are not hard, just... different
@arcbrush8 жыл бұрын
Easiest healer and no mana problems ever. Shammy is the hardest for me, he has no panic buttons when situation goes to hell, even if his heals are stronger. With a monk healer you die only when they let you die. Fast relocation (for LOS and agro), bubble, mass heal and dispel (for group wide effects), blast heal that heals depending on how many enemies around target (random player agro pulls or tank having too many on him), passive healing, stationary heal helper with no cd, heal while moving, and a massive heal spell from the staff when you need that extra oomph. Also you're very visibly healing and who your target is so you can't be blamed if things go wrong.

I just hate it that after warlords you character is always some kind of general or leader or whatever. It's not a single player game and that way every single player is the leader of the hord or the alliance or whatever. It's stupid and you lose the feeling that you are part of something bigger.
