I highly recommend giving an estoc build a try now that you're approaching enough generation points to pull it off. It will struggle against certain "boss" enemies if you get far enough into the game. Funnily enough i found that with high enough weapon skills and agility you can face down virtually anyone thanks to your unreal dodge chance as long as you manage your stamina. Estoc + trinkets that increase your wound chance (or the poisoned feast knife) is kind of hilarious given how hilariously stamina cheap the basic slash is.

The estoc looks super fun! Might see if I can make it work in future, not sure if I'll do it for the next one but it's definitely on the menu. :)

With maxed stats it's totally possible to complete the game (with a little luck) without armor on at all. That is to say, that I agree that the build can work, but I would suggest he wait one or two more runs. (essentially I want him to experience the merc route to completion, so he has an idea about the bosses in chapter 4 and 5) What do you think would be a fun estoc build? I am going to do a run tomorrow (today...) and I want/need a new build to try out. Be as specific as you can, as I got the points to make it.

@@ReformistTMIf you like death by 1 million cuts or one giant stab estoc build is for you. On another note if you can afford more than estoc, you might want to dip into axes. Axes are good at armour breaking which you can use to create holes for your estoc to start poking them to death. One or two strikes to soft limb or if you are feeling spicy, neck armour, can make it easier for the estoc to do it's thing. Extra poisons will leave the enemy so wounded after a few hits they become a free kill.

@@NielsMulvad I mean, fun if subjective. I personally enjoy using the poisoned feast knife + basic slashes to style on the enemies by stacking wounds on wound without getting hit, which works with basically any trinket that boosts your wound chance. You could go for for falcon ring and shield master ring if you wanna go on a less wound-heavy route, but IMO the whole point of the estoc is to either one shot weak enemies or style on bosses by going hitless and wearing them down with wounds.

Vans did exist but they were not cars obviously, some folk would call a wooden cart a van. PD. Personally when you are fighting against knights and other heavily armored opponents go for the limbs since your axe can break that kind of armor more easily and cause some maims. Unless you get an opening for the neck

If you're curious for the profit from Blacksmithing: Your Sallet cost 180 Your Aventail cost 75 Together that's a cost of 255 in materials You sold it for 345, So you had a profit of: 90 florins And you raised your reputation by 15, so the next time you do something similar the profit margin would be even greater. As for the prestige on the armor. The sallet's prestige was 6 and the aventails was 3 for a total of 9 base prestige. When you crafted it you added +10 prestige from your 30 Craftsmanship skill and +3 from your Armorsmith Reputation. Giving you a total prestige of +13. So if you want to make 20 prestige armor you just need materials that have a minimum prestige combined of 7. On top of that your Reputation as an Armor smith will grow every time you complete a job, so that +3 will increase. And at 30 Crasftmanship skill you can reduce the penalties off any combined armor you make by 7. All this info as at the bottom of the armor crafting window with the finished product. Hope this helps explaining a bit about the crafting.

James, the Game has 19 Endings and a lot of achievements :) Speaking of which: I managed to unlock a few more: Endings, as well as Achievements that is. There are still a few remaining, but I will get them eventually. I love this game and I hope for a Crusader Campaign Type of DLC. The replayabilty value of HWR is extremely high and I would pay good money for future DLCs and Expansions.

Todays notes + a question. Question: Why have to started to release the episode so late? Is it because of the algorithm?? Or is it just a coincidence??? Notes: Build; I don't want to spam the message again I wrote a few times (it seems counter productive), but I have written what I would suggest you focus on in a build. (pretty much what you have done in the past). As well as some trinkets and items (and why). If you want me to repeat it, then give me a heads up. Suggestion: I would suggest that you go to France (high rep with soldiers), as the build you had in this episode could have completed the game (if you hadn't done the optional fights and bosses). It honestly has the easiest path to complete the game (as well as what I think is the most challenging, and a third path with the most fun boss), which is also where I would suggest people farm points, if they don't want to explore the game (like you do) as they play. Also you still have yet to experience and explore what Olivia has going on. Best bath girl, 10/10 would love her again.

The path after france is the hardest path due to a special mechanic.

@@anderstone3256 I must say, I strongly disagree! Chapter 6 can be completed without doing a single thing. You can literally skip the entire chapter and get an ending without combat, which is a big part of why if you want to complete the achievements for a "no hit run" and completing HWR difficulty on a random character you go to France, as you can skip from chapter 4 to the end of the game. Regarding the mechanic you are talking about, if you have high craftmanship then you can avoid the penalties that you talked about... it is a mechanic that is totally doable, especially if start with high craftmanship or you buy the two easily available trinkets that boost it (hammer + one that is available in chapter 5).

there are some great synergies with character creation trinkets for hit chance and reducing enemy evasion amd dodge chance as well. bandit hood amd the forked dagger are great for it!
