I always said that 343 writers were all trying to do different things. The games portrayed S-IVs as the evolution of the Spartan Program and equal to IIs in every way - they handle identically to IIs in the 343 trilogy, yet Reach had you noticably smaller playing as Six, a III - and yet the books said the opposite.

Now this is how a Spartan vs Spartan fight should sound like. Honestly this was so much more enjoyable to listen to in comparison to the one 343 gave us. Also I appreciate the inclusion of the Rookie still managing to stand up after that beating, he wasn't given the Hyper Lethal tagline but he was still a badass playable character that held his own. Having Johnson come in at the end telling him to let her go, when in canon he was the one to say to never let her go hit hard. Once again another awesome video 🤙

[Warning, launch of a nuclear long comment detected] Man, i really like how well done is this what if of halo 5. It feels everything makes more sense now, and the characters are actually push to the limits. I like how you explain the logic plague and how it could be affecting chief and noble 6. I also love how the warden ends up respecting more chief and 6, with a very brief but friendly encounter (something we could say we never had, just imagine being his ally for a few moments, it could have been a kickass moment like when you fight along hunters). This obviously didn't last (I think it could have been an interesting thing to hear more explained and expanded, like when chief and arby fight that one time along the flood). I also like how a lot of the lore and characters have realistically grow after surviving to this moment. There is certainly a feeling of satisfaction to see humanity fight and win a war (battle, invasion) against the elites all by themselves. Though I must admit that while the fight of Xytan vs Fred is baddass, I think that it doesn't feel as right to have the best Spartan against the strongest and smartest elite all by his own. True, Fred is a monster and a legend for master chief, but I do think Xytan is a bit far of what the spartans 2 are, as he is the equivalent of atriox (if not better, due to all his capabilities, intelligence and experience). Still, the video is amazing and I love how there is spartans from all generations fighting and participating in the conflict. And I like how they confront each other, including chief questioning cortana, only to realize quickly of the mistake he made. Going back to some of the questions of the video, I think it would be awesome a bonus video detailing the invasion of sanghelios and the assassination mission to Xytan. I also want to say that I would greatly enjoy a timeline 2 with more mentions of minor lore characters and giving them small but relative important tasks on the story, as I could totally see some of them becoming spartans 4. Last but not least, I think it would be an interesting approach to expand a bit more the conflict of the created, before heading to halo infinite events (if they ever give us anything related to story, which could be hard to say now that the studio is a dumpsterfire after firing most of the campaign staff). Despite everything, I really like how you do those videos. While I admit that I skipped last part (some moments kinda lose me for some reasons, which I don't remember now). I do want to congratulate you for doing such an amazing job on your narration and storytelling. I am definitely invested more than last time, and I can not wait to see what you have in store for next.

I really did think Xytan is the Master Chief equivalent of the Elites, but His whole planet just got invaded, he was tired after fighting, and He just cleared out three whole Spartan fireteams, He certainly was not at his best. Not to take anything away from Fred, cause he is the bees knees. Honestly I had written Xytan's death much worse, but it felt like a punk out so i scrapped it. I understand i lose people with my stories sometimes so dont worry, I apprecuiate the honesty. I narrate too fast, I KNOW theres some moments where i nees to slow down and let things sink in, but I cannot bare a moment of silence in the video. I am aware it is a flaw, and I just cannot fix it no matter how hard i try. Also I know some people ust wanna hear the STORY, and I kow some really like the action sequences. Some who ar elike me, they hear some of the details and fill in the rest of the fights with their imagination. And theres nothing wrong with just wanting to hear the lore or the fights. but I throw in both to appease, AND please both sides!

​@@IvanicohG (Oh boy, this is gonna be another long comment XD) Makes sense, don't worry my friend, i know from experience that you won't be able to appease everybody, but as long as you do your best and be able to learn from that, that's what matters. Each person is different, and it takes us different amongst of time to archive it. Don't seek perfection, just do the best you can and if you feel to push further beyond, don't be afraid. Also, i didn't have any issues with the pacing, maybe i got used to your style. Nevertheless, I feel like you did an amazing job at giving each section their own time. And leaving certain parts as possible bonus seems like a good thing to me. As you can allow yourself to be a bit briefer. As a personal recommendation if you want to improve on this, is to not push yourself, sometimes we hardwork/brute force some stuff in ways that don't make us comfortable, and it leads us to frustration. The best way to do it is to make it natural, working and improving it as we go. For last, i do think it makes sense to think Xytan as an equal to master chief for some. But i think the original Arbiter (Thel Vadam) is a more fit for that role. Elite and brute peak individuals like Atriox and Xytan makes sense to be beyond spartans 2s, just because of the fact that the covenant had a lot more time to create their perfect version of the perfect soldiers, especially for how advance and warlike they are. I also lack a bit of context due to skipping last part, so that's my bad on that regard. If you allow me to give you some advice in a way to make battle against such boss like enemies is to, for example, that cinematic of halo 3 ODST when alpha nine fights the brute chieftain on the skyscrapers. Covenant leaders and promethean Bosses are generally high ranking and experience individuals, who to eliminate requiere the team effort and their specialties put to good use in order to take them down. You can still have a main character as the focus of the fight, but having side characters that helps and support through short moments (like a snipe to the leg, an overcharge plasma pistol bolt or even mere distraction to buy your characters some time) can aid you in making fights more believable and satisfying. I know 343 (And Bungie too to a certain extend) has kind of broken this rule, as aside from jul (Who isn't really much of a fighter, but more of an opportunist leader who knows when to push and when to leave in order to win), characters like Avu Med Telcam who should be able to put a good fight, end up dying to a random lone wolf/head hunter spartans, in ways that are, well, not that well made. I know often times writing deaths or defeat of powerful villains is a challenge that requires careful planning and creativity in order to be made right. So, i give you a lot of credit to make one that was way badass and better than the original way we got it in the lore. Still, i consider this part of high-quality content, that i like to hear when doing some side tasks. I am really glad i find your channel a long time ago, as it's been a blast to hear all the stuff you do. I hope some my recommendations can help you, as i am a bit of a writer myself (although, i am still an amateur for now XD). Regardless, Well done here, i am excited for what your next video will be, as i feel that you are improving a lot more than you think you do. I hope you have wonderful day and keep up the amazing work : D.

I read this like 4 times and kept forgetting to reply im so sorry. Starting off, thank you for being so understanding. and yeah having to force myself to work through some sections really isnt fun. thats the thing ive found mostly boring and annoying when making these what IFs. We still have to go through the events of HALo 1, 2, 3 and so on. I mean I guess I straight up could skip Events like all of Halo 2, or all of HAlo3 or so on but some people would haaaate it. and some would just be lost. I hear ya and I think Its okay to make Boss type enemies fight our heroes and beat them until they get help from minor characters. I understand that 1v1 Is not always the best option, but thus far most of these stories have had The heavy Hitters. Arbiter, Chief, Noble 6. So If i dotn make them seem as equals to the Covenant's heavy hitters, people will feel like i dint do them justice. Because While I think Chief is the EQUIVALENT of Xytan's abilities for a human. I think being an Elite physically puts him over chief. I think the only reason Spartan IIs push the boundary and can be seen as equals to nearly any foe, is due to their Armor. Yes they have the best training and reflexxes in the galaxy, but I think their Armor PLUS all of that is what gives them the slight edge over most. @@IvanicohG No worries, it's totally understandable. I myself feel like I don't want to write some parts. But like you do, is good to do them just to be out of the way. About the characters, it makes sense, specially knowing that most people don't really know about certain parts of the lore. I also think it has to do with people and 343 idealising master chief, when even in some of the books he doesn't consider himself the best spartan, rather than the most well-known. Which is a detail I like when chief admits that Fred is far better than him. The problem With equivalents, is that it kind of overshadow certain aspects due to how radically different both side are, either on tech or military discipline/expertise. Still I do enjoy what you did a lot, just think that it makes more sense and it gives more excitement when characters (specially humans), fight beings that are still technically better individually than then, but manage to come on top due their abilities combine. But how this done is truly subjective, more when you have in mind we never saw some of those characters fought themselves (aside from clear characteristics). Nonetheless, this is perhaps more of my personal interpretation of them and the information. Regardless, I really think you do an amazing on those videos. So keep it up. : D.

Which is one of the reasons he was Crazy and went and Composed himself. To become immune to regular infection. Also why him being trapped for a hundred thousand years drove him even more Crazy. Long story short. Yes it can and has infected organics. The flood intended to infect the Master Builder of the Forerunners if I remember correctly.
