Flower, Mike (aka: Left Behind), the guy who lost 105 pounds, and I are planning two 5-day hikes on the Appalachian Tail for this year. When y'all met, we (Mike, me, and three more of our buddies) were hiking from Amicalola Falls to Neel's Gap. When you passed us, we'd set up a stealth camp on top of a mountain. I believe you camped about half a mile passed us. Anyway, this afternoon when looking at recent videos from the trail, I saw your video. Thanks for mentioning Mike's great accomplishment last year. Mike is a hell of man!

@@loamseeker5230 I hike solo all the time it’s the stealth camping I’m unsure of. I’ve solo camped at a campsite but was not alone as filled with thru hikers at that time. I’m hoping to get comfortable over time but actual solo hiking is amazing. Happy trails. 🤘🏻🥾⛰️. I’m also in NY 🗽

Can’t believe I binge-watched all eight. I would have bailed way back at the copperhead and if not, certainly at the point where the bears entered the scene. I would love to do that trail some day and when it is paved and 60 😊Hampton Inns are established along the trail, I’m there. Forgot to mention the long-range electric bike I’ll need.

I know it's tradition to do the approach trail, but since it's not really a part of the AT, and I had a limited time in my schedule to hike...it wasn't part of my plan.

Great camera work and narration. Too many hikers' videos have erratic camera movement and make the narration more about themselves than about the scenery.
@loamseeker5230 Жыл бұрын
Thank you! So glad you enjoy. I just try to show the interesting things I see on the trail with a little bit of narrative. I like to mostly show the trail so that if anyone is looking to do the section, they have an idea what the terrain is.
