Dang nice job bro, beautiful movement. I just started using glaives in the crucible but it’ll be a while before I do glaive bow combo 😅 cuz stuff like this is a hiiigh skill ceiling.

@@drathos13 you definitely gotta work a lot harder for kills haha. Number one thing I can tell you is, if you’re planning to do a swap setup use aggressives, range is by far the most important stat for travel time speed, and impulse amplifier is night and day feeling wise. Also swap mag is Goated for the mag perk. More you practice the better it gets tho, keep at it!

Gonna give this a try. Mostly I play a peek shooting play style with bows mostly with wish ender and I'm on console so. Think I should go practice snap skating first 😅

Why don’t u bring the draw time down more with the added crafted mods? Or is freehand grip better in your opinion?

@@nathanchohany8169 way, way better mod wise. Freehand grip and hipfire grip together makes hipfire perfect, which to me is more valuable than 0.02s shaved on ttk. Secondly, draw time scaling is weird, once you proc archers gambit the extra draw time actually doesn’t show up tangibly in reducing ttk (which I’ve seen on d2foundry). All in all hipfire grip will make you way more accurate from the hip, which is your goal when trying to proc archers gambit, and even gives you a handling scalar for draw and stow. I recommend it for every bow by far if hipfire is your goal

@ I don’t play much PvP but if I can main bows for everything not like Sami in Pve she’s all bows no hud. The kinetic tremors from garden proves kinetic in 2 hits even if they are not full draws. This weirdest thing for me to get used to with a new bow is the sound it makes some just feel wrong Ima try that out for PvP though thx

@ specifically for things like archers gambit hipfires a must. But if you’re fine with adsing and prefer that playstyle, gardens is definitely the play, with archers tempo and kinetic tremors, very good in its own right

100% agree on bows being good. I've been rockin the warlords ruin bow. That thing's a hip fire crit magnet but same slot as rake angle rip. The amount of people that ego chal me again after getting hit is wild

If you bind your grenade to l1, auto melee to r1, and super to l1 + r1, you can snap skate by sliding, pressing jump, and pressing down both your bumpers

This is all so much harder on console sadly, the hipfire is very iffy and hard to hit along with snap skating being harder (I can do it every time now but couldn't a year ago), its also much harder to do much at higher speeds which also brings up the issue of this games movement and specifically the acceleration being frame rate based so console players literally shouldn't be able to move at pc speeds tho I think its possible

@taylormorgan3669 frame based movement is genuinely depressing, and actually one of the main reasons I swapped to pc and mnk, specifically because I felt so slow, and hated the input delay that came with controller on it (which is why imo snapskating feels so hard on controller specifically for console). Bow hipfire is also one of those things that’s separately balanced on mnk, the aim assist and accuracy cones are actually different when you switch inputs. This tbh is an mnk only build imo, which sucks. Got some more controller friendly ones on the way tho

@Pandemoniyum I make my own builds just because they'll fit my play style better like my stasis and final warning build and snap skating solar build with tyranny of heaven although a lot of similar builds exist, also a cool thing I noticed is with a hatchling weapon you can run the fragment on strand to make more threadlings from a weapon kill and then run weavers call to also have a chance of giving yourself a perched threadling for a build where just from your weapon kills alone you spam threadlings and then with more aspects and stuff you can use each ability to create threadlings (weavers walk for the melee) and you can get out of danger too with weave walk

Its one of those weapons that u have to get used to it and practice but just like a sniper its soooooo difficult to play if u face somone like that.
