Depends on the ammunition used. A rifle round (I assume at least a .308 round) fired from a, well, rifle has a lot more penetration capabilities than a 9x19mm pistol round fired from an Uzi. These movies are hillarious, the gangsters are always inept and mindlessly pile in like they have nothing to live for. The premise is getting old.

Those mouse trap shotgun shells would not have done any serious damage, as they have no barrel in which to pressurize the burning powder and accelerate the shot.

Interestingly, in the '60s the US govt put together insurgency manuals that could be distributed to "allies" fighting communism. Nail the rattrap to a piece of 2x4 and drill a hole for the shell under the bar.

1) Great choreography, 2) Great blood splatter effects...the most accurate I have seen in a movie yet, and 3) Uzis?! It's amazing they are still considered worthy in 2022, having been around since the 1950s!
