Teresa opened it up several years ago. There was a gentleman working there that I had worked with in the past that Teresa had let in to start cleaning stuff up. He was telling us about all the dust dirt and bird poop that had piled up on brand new bass boats that were in there. I have been in that shop but it was when Dale was alive and just after he passed. Right before she locked it up. Dale was a amazing man to work for. Wish he was still around. A lot of things would be different.

Number one point I want to get across with this comment. Teresa doesn't care. She forced Jr. out of the company, sabotaged his final year with bad engines in an attempt to reduce his value to other teams, sold DEI the second she got bored with it, sued Kerry, Dale's first son for using his OWN, BY BLOOD, LAST NAME on business ventures and to this day refuses to have a meaningful relationship with Dale, Kelley or Kerry. She never once showed a bit of emotion in the aftermath of Dale's passing to the extent that every single time, including the HoF speech you could just tell the last thing she wanted to do was be in the same room with Dale's kids. She was an attention seeking selfish little sh*t and the quicker she disappears from the equation of Dale Earnhardt Sr's. life, widdow or not, the better. She was a patient and convincing gold digger. Nothing more, nothing less.
@natural-born_pilot3 жыл бұрын
Thank you JD you saved me the trouble because I was preparing to state the exact same thing. The only thing that would have been different was the description you said she was “selfish little sh*t”, mine would have got me blocked. I just don’t understand people like her, NO LOVE and filthy rich who want for nothing. Those three were Dale’s kids and part of his story. Why can’t she show some love and allow them to have something to remember their dad not to mention their own personal property as well. I don’t see her losing nothing over it. They should fight it. There’s got to be someone out there who was a die hard fan of Dale Sr. with a set of justice scales and a law degree that would lead the fight to get back what belongs to them and not rape them afterwards. Teresa is an excellent candidate for KARMA.

I hate Teresa as much as anyone and I blame her for driving the first nails into the coffin of the nascar we knew and loved of the 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s when she caused jr to finally say enough is enough and leave his dead fathers team and go race for rick. Along with the dominant run of the #48 , the COT failure and the addition of more cookie cutter boring 1.5 mile tracks , I feel the downfall / fate of nascar was sealed the moment dale jr didn’t show up to Daytona in February in a Budweiser #8 owned by DEI. It is the moment nascar lost a somewhat simple minded, mostly uneducated but very Loyal portion of the fan base I think accounted for 30-35% of nascars entire fan base. Those people you would see pack up and leave their seats the moment dale jr was caught up in a wreck… or blew an engine etc The ones they may have only made $300 that week at their job but spent $270 at talladega on tickets / food / parking / etc EVERY year twice a year

If his old shop has had some bad weather in the past, the building may not be able to stand up to higher-force winds or even another tornado. This is why maintenance is important. Teresa also has to understand why a city's "building code" exists in the law.

What if Dale left a copy of his will in there that Theresa doesn't know. Also what if Dale Sr knew this was going to happen if something happened to him. Theresa doesn't want the kids in there knowing it could have ruin everything she stole from them or basically kept from them. I hope Dale Jr can get his lawyer to make Theresa open the deer head shop. Also it probably was Dale Sr Nascar Busch Series Team shop.

Based on Jr.'s description I don't think it is the building you point out. That building has 3 garage doors on the front, There is a building still within the DEI fenceline just south of the main complex that fits the description better, anyone know what that building is?
@TightInLooseOff3 жыл бұрын
I know what building you're speaking of. I thought that was it originally, but photos from the inside of the shop didn't line up with the exterior. The 3 door thing is confusing however, but I did get confirmation from a couple of people that have worked on the property over the years that I do have the right building. So there is a discrepancy with the door thing, but I think there is a reasonable explanation. Specifically if you look at the photo from my thumbnail, the highlighted building is the only one on the property with doors that line up on the outside.

Yep, a building, shop, house, or any other structure MUST be maintained and have adequate air ventilation. If any structure is locked up, with NO ventilation, fans, or even AC........the first thing that happens is mold starts accumulating on everything exposed to the air inside the structure. I've seen brand new houses that sat locked up with no AC running or windows opened, that literally start rotting from the inside out. Mold everywhere inside, on the walls, ceilings, doors, stairs, etc, and the smell is horrible. If there is high humidity in the region, then black mold will take over, and can make people very sick. Old junked cars that are closed up have poisonous air in them too. You're supposed to roll the windows down or open the doors to allow an old junk car to air out for a while, before getting inside, to avoid serious respiratory infections.

I’m not trying to be rude but I disagree with your opinion that Teresa closed it for the reasons you described. She has proven time and time again that she doesn’t care about honoring Dale Sr in any way. It’s because of her that the company he worked so hard to build, is gone. That is something that was supposed to be for his children’s future - including their daughter together. If that wasn’t bad enough, she sued his son, Kerry, for using the Earnhardt name when he and his wife were planning on opening a business called The Earnhardt Collection. Her argument was that she owed the name Dale Earnhardt thought by Kerry using the Earnhardt name - Kerry’s birth right - it would cause confusion that The Dale Earnhardt name was associated with The Earnhardt Collection. Seriously? What would it have mattered? Kerry looks exactly like his dad. I’m surprised she didn’t sue him for that. If she truly wanted to honor Dale Sr. she would have honored his wishes. She knows that he built DEI for his children, specifically Jr and Kerry to continue racing for the Earnhardt legacy. She knows his wish was for his children to one day run the company. But she made sure that will never happen. Did she think that Sr would have approved of his son being sued for using his own name? Would he have done that? Would he be hurt by the fact that his wife did it? Does she think about how he would feel knowing that she ran his company into the ground? And why did she do all of these things? Not to honor her husband. She did it for, in my opinion, 2 reasons. 1. Apparently Sr didn’t leave her enough money. And 2. Spite. She would have rather that Sr didn’t have any other kids. She wasn’t nice to Jr or Kelly when they were growing up. It didn’t get better when they were grown and out of the house. If she truly loved her late husband, she wouldn’t have done all of the horrible things that she did. I think she’s a disgrace and she should be sued for using the Earnhardt name.

Midway through the tattoo, it suddenly hit me that the deer head was a PERFECT companion to the Earnhardt one, especially since the antlers come up and go around it. Now you know the father would want that money to go to all his children when she dies but do you think she’s going to leave it to his kids? Answer….no…..she will leave to her kids…..this is why you MUST have a will and trust….in order to make sure your money goes where you want….. People always think oh my spouse will do what I am financially intend to do that when you’re alive but if you die and some time passes…. People rationalize as to why they no longer have to do what you ask them to do… And let’s not be holier than thou …..you or I could do the same thing

I am sure Dale would have liked to have seen DEI continue and be a legacy for the whole family. As far as the shop, I am sure at some point someone will get to go through it.
