Corey Baseball Gloves and bats Ice skates hats and shoes will make you even scarier. Calculators are good too. You are already the goat though. You have a really good location with all those places and the Mckays. Don’t ever move away from your location.

Shitty part about eBay, you bought that controller for $2. The listing you pulled had sold for $15.99 (free shipping) so there goes $6-$7 just in shipping, then another 15% to fees $-1.50/$2. Then remove the $2 you paid for it you made a whole $5 if your lucky…
@FlippityFlip2 ай бұрын
Yep it’s razor thin a lot of times, but for me the amount of work is nothing: listing and packing that takes less than a minute, and controllers sell fast so ~+5 dollars is worth it.

The Aladdin live action was pretty good tbh. Haha. The best of the live actions if that means anything being the rest are so bad.

This is crazy, I just found some Ravenloft novels at a thrift for 50 cents a piece. Also some old D&Ds and old WOC novels. Already made about $800 off a $50 investment and still have more books and offers to get to when I get off duty. That's a great pickup homie!

That's awesome! I've never seen Ravenloft out in the wild anywhere, but of course the FR stuff is very common at Goodwills.

Man slow down on showing off every flea market in north and south Carolina. Already enough ppl hitting them. Your creating more competition and for some of the markets it's even worse cause you go once or twice and never again. Show off your normal markets but not the ones you try randomly
@FlippityFlip2 ай бұрын
I only go to the ones that have around 500 ratings or higher on google reviews, the ones that are already well known in other words. My local flea markets that I show off in every single video have not increased in traffic at all and I find the same level of stuff as I always have there. Which means these videos do not have any noticeable affect on turn out or what stuff is there (I wish they did!). But regardless I'll be moving into Tennessee in the next few videos I hope. I only do that to keep things fresh. I'll be circling back to all of them in time.

@@FlippityFlip also as far as breakdowns go. I feel as if you should include gas and amount of travel time/ expenses in your breakdowns. From what I see being I am from the area you travel. Some of these markets have to be 60 plus miles one way to get to. As the one guy said about strategic buys. The markets you hit should be as well. I understand desire to see more markets. But what I have learned in last 8 years or so is that making genuine connections with sellers at markets is best way to find more stuff. Once people know what your willing to buy and pay. They will hold the items in their cars for you. Which I am sure is reason some markets arent as good as you hope. I have ppl at 2 or 3 markets that keep items in car for me until I arrive. Focus on those connections and stuff will find its way to you
@FlippityFlip2 ай бұрын
@@ncman83 That's a really good point about making connections with people. Paying up for certain items will be remembered by the seller next time and they'll give you a good deal on something else later on for example. Some of my own best buys were the result of that. I need to mention that more often for sure. Oh yeah the gas is a lot and it's a ton of driving. I don't show the gas prices or the shipping fees, eBay fees, or mailing supplies costs because it's so much extra work that slows down and convolutes the video when adding in every single little detail (I did do this in earlier videos, and it was a chore). Plus I don't always know where or for how much I'll sell certain things, so making a general estimate is an easy way to streamline it for the viewers. Also the video ad revenue more than covers all the additional costs so that's how I see it. This is still a new channel so every video I'm experimenting with the structure/format to find the right balance. I want to be honest with people and give them a good idea of what reselling full time is like, but at the same time I need footage, so I have to make sacrifices in certain areas. I certainly would not be driving around to all these flea markets if I didn't have this channel haha
@ncman832 ай бұрын
@@FlippityFlip its good ad revenue covers cost. But doing all this extra driving and extra stuff is gonna lead to burn out. Also you said you go to flea markets with x amount of reviews. For most markets they have been open for 40 or more years. So they will have that easy. Might want to read some of the current reviews. Thunderbird the one in spartanburg for instance 5 to 8 years ago was amazing. Now its awful and reviews could save you a whole day in the case of some markets. Also it only takes one viewer who buys the same items you do to watch a video and bam they get there earlier then you and boom you lose items to buy. I find amazing stuff daily. But I dont care to make videos to show it off. I know a guy who is a full time very successful reseller that only goes to 2 stores. His main business comes from finds at one store. So being consistent at one place is key. He told me and showed me sells to prove it that he makes a comfortable living going to one store 5 days a week at the same time every day and he sells the same things I see you selling

Yeah I can sell that expansion pack for 70 😂😂 cracks me up they sell for 45 find out where he sells them for 70 so I can sell mine there too.
