There is a difference between sensual and vulgar. Hollywood usually gets it right though not always. Chikni Chameli was vulgar and I have friends from various countries who share that opinion. It's a gaudy objectification of a woman's body unlike sensual displays of feminine beauty and grace. There are many other songs that are in the same league but since it's Katrina Kaif saying she doesn't want to objectify women then she shouldn't be dancing the way she did in such songs. Bollywood movies have lost their charm because they have lost their originality and uniqueness. If you really want to copy Hollywood, which is clear to anyone with a functioning brain that you are, then at least try not to be tasteless. Don't reduce women to the swaying of their hips and their pelvic thrusting dance numbers. Don't be endlessly obsessed to surgeries, botox, fillers and face lifts to sustain a career which is entirely based on your looks while it's not at all the same for men. That in itself is objectification. That you think your not worth changing the trend and would be replaced after your in your mid thirties at most. Bollywood objectifies women more than any other industry except porn. At least be honest and accept that a particular project of yours wasn't very classy and was portrayed inappropriately and that would gain my respect unlike how everyone keeps peddling these lies that they would never objectify women.
