I have never heard thos song b4 yesterday and it was. Like he knew what. I felt. I was in a band yrs ago my first and wrote songs with another guitar player. Scott and i were like brotthers. Then some petty bs broke up the band . he died 26 yrs ago this christmas. We had payched some things up. But writing music with someone is a connectipn that never fades. I miss him. I know why paul is so selective about what he says about john

Don’t worry about the strumming pattern just try and play through the song using the chords provided and play what you feel it is really important to develop your ears so you can hear what is happening, it may take a little time but in the long run you will be a much better musician and will never need to ask anybody ever again about what a strumming pattern is. Please don’t take this the wrong way, as it is the best advice I can give

If you're referring to "nobody knows you, when you're down and out" they're not the same

The title of the older one is actually "nobody knows you when you're down and out" slightly different title, and it is a blues song with a different tune and lyrics
