Sam Campbell is like an Australian Bob Mortimer, he knows that his story telling is funny as hell and will take every opportunity to spin a yarn or tell a true story and you often can't tell which is which. I watched some of his stand up and not my cup of tea at all but his unscripted banter and interactions with the others on taskmaster has me laughing out loud. Edited to say I just watched his 2022 Sydney 'companion' special and I take the comment about his stand up back. 🤣

I used to play in an indoor soccer team with Sam. One night I was dropping him home after a game, he made some joke from the back seat. My other friend said 'I dunno about that joke Cambo, that's a pretty long bow'. He was quiet for a beat and then said 'The longer the bow, the further the arrow flies'. "online" is to this day one of the funniest things to happen on Taskmaster. Because the whole bit of telling an unrelated story is great on its own, but "online" is just something that sounds written than improvised. Greg asked the perfect question, almost a written tee up but no it just happened.
