At 1:02:56 the game wanted you to declare blockers before priority is passed. (Doesn't matter if you had no legal blocks, you still have to tell MODO that you aren't blocking)

Yeah, this is such a classic thing that I'm surprised Bosh forgot about it. During attacks you only get one priority pass, but during blocks you have to choose blockers and then get the pass. It's essential to how combat tricks work.

I’ve been playing mocking bird in this same deck and it’s been absolutely amazing copy a frog you no longer have to jump it cause it had flying already. They play a frog you copy it they play bowmaster you copy it and kill it. It’s just so much fun too. It’s so underrated I’ve bought a bunch in hopes it takes off. I’ve been playing it in boros energy in modern splash blue for it and spell pierce ,spell snare and scatter in the side board the format is either creatures or none and not letting ajani come down is big

Would there be any merit to be the dimir frog reanimator build, but flip the main and sideboard? Instead of being reanimator first, then going more tempo, start as a tempo and board into reanimator? I'm just wondering if it would ever be reasonable to juke from fair to unfair.

Im curious as to why shoot the sheriff is the pick over all the other 2 mana non-x kill spells? I feel like there are a few outlaws out there but idk

This is one of the current ongoing discussions in Legacy. Currently there are fewer important Outlaws than Artifact Creatures or Demons/Dragons etc.

The outlaws are bombadiers, brazen borrower, undercity informer and voidwalker. The artifacts creatures are devourer, painter and urzas saga tokens. Demons dragons devils and angels are mostly reanimate targets (Atraxa), tbh power word kill seems like maybe the best but I might be missing something.

Shoot the Sheriff seems risky in the Dauthi Voidwalker, Brazen Borrower, Broadside Bombardiers meta-game. It seems like there must be a better 1B instant removal spell - Infernal Grasp, Bitter Triumph, or Feed the Cycle all jump out as contenders?

Everyone is entitled to build their decks how they’d like. Those are cards you can play if those resource costs over all matchups are acceptable to you vs sometimes missing outright.

@ You lose 1+1 damage on the army+ping but Goyf would get through next turn when they obviously chump with the token since, as you pointed out, mana is not a concern for them
