it wasn't foil on the plane armrest, it was what is called "speed tape". its a common repair tape for use on aircraft mainly for aluminum parts. but I'm assuming the aircraft maintenance worker was pressed for time and didn't want people picking at it more (its super strong) until they could get a replacement arm put on and just grabbed their nearby roll of tape to wrap it up to get the plan in the air on time.

03:07 the "tinfoil" on the arm of the seat is something called speed tape. It is an industrial foil tape holding the arm together for some reason, Like the screws came out or someone took them out. This is very common for mechanics at the airport to wrap whatever item is broken to hold it together until a routine maintenance check comes up.

Heh - years ago my younger sister was supposed to bring a cake to a work potluck. She was terribly embarrassed that she'd made it from a mix and used canned frosting. Her co-workers were much younger than she was and they were shocked that she'd taken the trouble to make a "home-made" cake instead of just buying one in the grocery store. We're in our 60s now. For us, a home-made cake is still one that you measure out and mix the flour, sugar, egg, spices, etc. yourself and boil that frosting.

Only 30 but same feeling about homemade. It killed me to dump a can of cherry filling into my homemade pie crust at Thanksgiving last year. Everyone loved it though. But I would know almost instantly. There's something about box cake mix and especially the canned frosting that makes me instantly sick. I'm not sure if it's something in the production process or some sort of preservative as alot of processed food makes me sick. There's alot of home bakeries that cheat and use box cake mix but use homemade frosting. It even happened in a storefront bakery once. We were doing a tasting for our wedding cake and by the time we got to the car I was sick. First last and only place we sampled wedding cakes. After that experience I just made it myself.

So with the lasagna thing: My mom would do that. Thing is, we always knew because the frozen lasagna was actually better than the one Mom made from scratch. She even admitted that she didn't put enough spices and herbs in her lasagna. So what my mom would do is put the frozen one in the glass Pyrex pan, and then sprinkle some extra cheese on top. Later, when I was grown and out of the house, I made a homemade one, and brought some to my parents. Mom was like, "What brand is this?" I said "This is Home-Cooked brand, trademark me" and from then on, Mom would periodically give me money to make lasagna for them (because homemade is cheaper than frozen) and one year for Christmas my folks gave me a crock pot casserole cooker, which I used just to make lasagna for like 15 years until the crockery part of it broke. This was near SMU college, so I was in my element hanging out with the nerdy guys and foreign students who weren't into loud music and shaking their groove thang. The walls were decorated with bookshelves filled with old books that could be bought by the box-full very cheaply. I found one from 1910 on etiquette that was so interesting, I stole it! To this day, it's the only thing I've ever stolen. I still think I had more fun than her! That's where I developed my squish for men and women from Asia, especially if they are Sikh. The ones I met were kind people and funny as heck! (BTW, squish is asexual slang for non-romantic and generally non-sexual infatuation with somebody one is not dating, or the object of that infatuation; a platonic crush.) Nerds buy drinks too, they just don't tend to expect as much in return. They value companionship and conversation.

The paint coat will be much more even and not have potential bruh-strokes in it. In the case of most PVC or pleather booths, any adhesive residue should be pretty easy to wipe off if necessary (with what, I am unsure, but I generally go for isopropyl and/or argan oil. Next day (Christmas Day) she came over and whilst talking, my youngest dog managed to get inside the bag, tip it over, open the pizza box and have a great personal Christmas. Only took 4 slices out of 8 though. Was amused. My eldest dog grabbed one herself, took it to the lounge and happily ate it too. Was an amusing sight to see. Couldn't tell my dogs off.

During our down time we would all hang out in a big camping tent. I left to get a snack and when I went to climb into the tent, I heard one of my relay teammates just start screaming and the other girls laughing. I looked at her like she was crazy and asked what happened. She said she went into my bag and took out what she thought was deodorant. Turns out it was an Icy Hot stick. The burning! The green dyed lawn is genius. In the US, one quarter of all fresh water is used to upkeep lawn grass. For many places suffering shortage it makes some sense especially if you live in one of the many regulated by zoning rules that force growing grass lawns. As soon as the bartender poured them I looked at them and shot all 4 of them, back to back and then walked away. 2 were pissed, one was impressed and she laughed then came and hung out with me and my friends for a bit. As a person from a warm climate in California that has a terrible drought, spray painting lines is not a terrible idea. You up there in the north get lots of rain but here there can be incredibly harsh restrictions on water. The irony is that a lot of HOA is Will fine people For not having green grass but the city will fine them if they used to much water. It’s a catch 22 that is awful so I think spraying the grass would be perfect.
@misscrackwood2 жыл бұрын
I think we could just ditch grass and use other plants that require less water to ''stay green''! Grass will turn yellow when it's too hot to protect itself, we are doing it a disservice by watering it all the time! We had these leather letter jackets in high school with really deep pockets. We would stuff one pocket with cans of soda, and the other with snacks. Couldn't really tell as the jacket looked kinda wrinkled anyway. The trick to opening the sodas was do it during the very loud opening 'upcoming features' or the opening intro. The noise from the speakers would cover the popping sound the can made when you popped the top. As far as other movies, bought tickets to one movie, the theatres weren't well numbered and ended up going into the wrong one. Can't remember what we were going to go to, but wound up watching " Perfect Storm'. Pretty good movie, actually, so weren't upset by the mistake.
