I'm not British thank God considering the British monarch role in colonization of other countries and the present oppression in subtle ways today. Welfare receiver with no accountability of the things they do, that is the British royal family. The RF are not welfare receivers. The contribute millions to the economy and the Soveriegn Grant is only 12% of what they pay in taxes. Only working Royals receive money from the Grant. The late Queen made everyone is becomevself funding. BTW the King saw Crown Estates invest millions into wind farms, which has made billions ongoing for the taxpayers, enough to fund the NHS and pensioners. This enabled the Sovereign Grant to be reduced from 25% to 12% of revenue. I suggest you look at the channel Royal Reporter Lydia, a very knowledgeable investigative journalist who has thoroughly analysed all the financial reports. Looking at elected presidencies worldwide, all of them are latched onto taxpayers and do not contribute to the stability as much as a Constitutional monarchy does.

The Duchys give millions to charities. They are building homes for the homeless on Duchy land. The £1-30pppy the taxpayers pay goes to the crown estates upkeep of historic buildings.

@@JeanLee-w4g Neither the Crown Estates nor the duchies are the royals' private property, so suggesting the income from them, or any *part* of them is "The King and William (being) self funded" is as inaccurate as any other benefits claimant suggesting they are "self-funding" for the same reason. Again, housing projects in the duchies are funded by tenants unfortunate enough to have properties owned by the duchies. Not a penny of it belongs to the royals, who 'only' own Sandringham and Balmoral (although these could nly have been purchased through embezzled public funds).

I am 66 years old and I have never liked the monarchy. The idea of people given all these privileges for no reason other than passing through the “right birth canal” is repulsive. This video is the best presentation I’ve seen for ditching the monarchy. Well done.👍

They don't invite you to the mainstream to speak on this anymore because they know that, and their job is to be the establishment's propaganda machine, not only protecting but above all pushing that family. I am lucky to have been born in a republic, my country is really far from great, but at least I am no subject! In actually civilized countries people are citizens, not subjects -- subjected to other people who are supposed to be considered better than them through birth right (holy insanity!) ...subjected to old, highly dated, colonial structures of power and extreme paragons of inequality. It's beyond bewildering to me, crazy really, that in this current day and era so many Brits are still ok with that.
