Wanderlei Silva brawled like a demon, defined the wild slobber-knocker genre and stomped opposition into oblivion on an industrial scale. Today we take a deep dive into the Axe Murderer’s bloodthirsty path of destruction, which made him the king of Pride FC.

It can take a lot of abuse if tempered in this stuff. Many of these people did this stuff since childhood. If I couldn't make it into the military, this was a fallback plan I had. Just to be a low-tier MMA fighter. Leukemia kinda stopped that though.

I think you might have to rewatch the fight my guy. They were pretty equal in the stand up and it was skill not luck that Fedor ended up on top. I could see how you would think some of the third round takedowns were "luck" that Fedor ended up on top but that was because Mirko was exhausted and Fedor still had more jump. Listen, I am a huge Crocop stan but Fedor set the pace for that fight and blocked/avoided Mirko's best attacks then absolutely demolished him from top position.

I've been to a few gyms and each coach I've encountered always had A different way of throwing punches. But I've never had a coach teach me to throw punches wild like that. Not one! You can have insane power in beautiful clean punches.
