I’m almost 100% certain this is what happened. He went to prison and got diagnosed by an actual professional doctor. They forced him to take his meds and he got better and got out. People with bipolar for some reason have a very hard time staying on their meds. I hear it’s because when you’re manic you feel like a god. Which the perfect mental state to be in for a pro fighter. At some point he stopped taking his meds and he was a ticking bomb.
