I might be a Vikings fan, but I love watching this Lions team play this year, gosh they are fun to see. Campbell is one of the top coaches of the year. Goff has rebuilt his career. People thought Lions got a temporary QB in Goff when they traded for him, yet this year, I'm loving what Goff has been doing, he is their guy. This defense has gotten better as the season has gone on, and they have loads of talent on offense, lots of which is young talent, meaning this could easily be a team that continues to be better for years to come. Last 4 games they have beaten the Giants (who still hold a playoff spot), almost beat the Bills, beat the Jaguars who are red hot right now, and the Vikings who are the #2 team in the NFC. Lions are balling and Rex Ryan is right, no one, and I mean no one, wants to face this team if they go to the playoffs, why? Not only is their offense one of the top five in the NFL right now, but their defense is playing well, and this is a team with nothing to lose. They have no expectations. No one thought they would be a playoff team, and as mentioned in this segment, Lions were planning on being good next year, so right now, they are just seeing how far they can go, and teams like this are scary.

The Cowboys game was close until the final quarter and that was with St Brown, Chark, and Swift not playing. Three of our 4 best offensive weapons out. That was before our defense turned it around as well. Vikings and Cowboys in the playoffs are both winnable for the Lions. Obviously whoever wins the NFC South as well. 49ers only if we had a flawless game but it’s not out of the realm of possibility. Eagles in Philly I think would smoke us even though the first game at home was close.

Only 2 of their losses have been blowouts, the rest have been relatively close games. If their defense hadn't been atrocious at the beginning of the season, they could easily be at the very least 10-4

Really only the Pats game was a true blowout. The Cowboys game looks bad score wise but the Lions were only down 10-6 early in the 4th quarter with a chance to take the lead but fumbled at the goal line into the end zone for a touchback. If not for that fumble they would've been up 13-10 and the game could've been completely different, that play took all the wind out of their sails.

As a Lions fan it feels damn good watching them play meaningful games this late in the season, and it feels better that people taking notice. Started 1-6, 4 of those losses were by a COMBINED total of 10 points they could have easily won at least 2 or 3 of those game, then went 6-1, lost to Buffalo which was a winnable game 100%. We could have been looking at a 9-5/10-4 team right now that's why they haven't given up, because they know in their heart of hearts they're a better team than what their record shows. I can't wait to see them make the playoffs and become the first team in NFL history to do so after starting 1-6.

The lions are better then their record shows. Keep in mind they went toe to toe with 2 of the best teams in the league with the Eagles and the Bill's. Eagles are the best team in the league and lions went down to the wire but lost by 3. And on Thanksgiving, the lions should've actually beat the bills but the bills won with last minute fg. So hopefully the lions can get into playoffs , it's gonna be fun to watch

@Tom Van fact is we could've easily won every game wev played this season except the patriots game. All of our loses besides that one has been by 3 or 4 points and wev lead in all those games. Our squad is hitting there stride at the right time and wer finally closing out these tight close games that we would always lose in the past.
