I think Jamal and guys like him coming on and doing a episode is great. It gives them a opportunity to flesh out what they're thinking and how they feel about the current state of the sport. I think derek would be awesome as a next guest episode.

Jamal is the man! Humble as all too. Ps- Jamal, Ed coan did his deadlifts all on a standard stiff bar. He never deadlifted on Texas deadlift bars

moving forward maybe kabuki records move to a separate category. along the lines of full power + kabuki or something. difficult to standardize it when the standard keeps changing. hate the kabuki

I dont know anyone who likes the kabuki. Besides, it sucks to not have one to train and all of the sudden have to pull on one on meet day. Texas or Rogue DL are better.

Tested and untested on the same stage would be a big show, but im not sure why a tested lifter would want to participate unless the maths says that they have a good shot at winning. Its like hey come get a participation trophy and legitimize untested lifter. By doing so they would inevitably undermine their global status, because they would most likely lose and be sending the message that tested and untested are basically the same. Only a Jesus/Perks kind of outlier could win. Everyone else would lose. The ipf/sbd monopoly is ulgy shit though. In Canada, if u make the international team youre forced to wear everything SBD give you.
