You can also install a solid state rectifier and use the unused 5v winding as a buck winding on the line voltage winding. I have done this on other amps and it works fine.

Russian tubes have cyrillic letterings so when you see "EB" it is not a latin EB but read out E-V. Also, 5U4C is actually 5C4S just written in cyrillic letters.

I have one of these and i have done a ton of mods.i just use an apc transformer to lower the voltage , they are only 60 bucks.

Did you make any headway on this? Last you left off was possibly redesigning the output stage to squeeze a little more power out. I did purchase the Reisong A12 but find after upgrades, it sounds meh compared to this amp. It feels scooped in the mids. I had also gotten a Yaqin MC84L which is very bright sounding. I love the neutrality of this amplifier. There's something about the sound the 6SN7's give off. I find it intoxicating.

@@SkunkieDesignsElectronics I got the A12, disappointed even after updates. I got a Yaqin MC84L, as sweet as that amp sounds vs. this one. The flat response and bass presence make the NS I feal an overall better amplifier.

The power supply would be the design issue.
