I completely understand and appreciate the idea of time under tension. So, for example when he is doing those triceps extensions, why not just choose an extremely heavy weight and find the area in the movement where the tension is the greatest and just hold it in that position?

This IS his workout routine. He's known for doing this partial reps to keep constant tension on the muscle. The 'trolling' aspect of the video is the fact that he's doing those reps as if to say "this is how I train, the fuck you gonna do about it" But he does actually train arms like this lol.

People think bodybuilding training doesn’t build muscle if you’re natural but they’ve never tried it natural before. It might not build strength but it builds muscle quicker than anything else

Triceps development. The apparatus used allows for a wider grip while still giving the benefits of rope pushdowns.

actualy it depends on the individual... if it works for one, it might work for another one, OR NOT... you just have to test it and see the results, but as a rule, always try the whole movement, the full range, you'll get the max contraction with the max extension of your muscles!

Yes, I know that he wanted to train triceps, I'm talking here about the form. Here he performs a fake incomplete movements which certainly does not help in achieving the desired results.

He expresses the most important idea in bodybuilding training constant tension while quarter rep is not the only way. It's an easy way to get a quick pump but it doesn't recruit as much muscle as there is than full range or even half range

actually this is how he really works out. you should look up his quarter rep philosophy. he has like three videos on this channel and one of them he explains why he does quarter reps. i would explain it but you would think i was just bullshiting so just look it up.

He squats low, parallel minimum. You are correct, he doesn't lock out at the top, because if you did that it would take tension off the muscles and put it on the joints. I NEVER debated that was a great strategy. I also follow this, but this video is as the title implies, TROLLING.

time under tension does help, many strength coaches advocate it for back development. also when you're on enough hormones to kill a bull shark any kind of exercise will work.

Dude he made the greatest gains of his life when he switched to using partial range of motions back in 08, look at him pictures of him during those years, then the end result to the USA 2010, which he looked AMAZING! At that level of development he has now, it will be very difficult for him to make noticeable changes, anyone around 250 pounds at 4 percent bodyfat would know what im talking about. Who told you he was doing a full rom when he won his pro card? Forums? I know Jhuh personally.
