A smile... THAT is what Nobu always brings to my face. :') And by the sound of this, it looks like he has been playing the pipe organ THE WHOLE LIFE ! :D

Nobuyuki Tsujii is no stranger to pipe organs -- seems to take to it naturally. But I suspect he has never touched this instrument before. This piece (I think it is a hymn) especially strikes a chord with me, in this troubled time of the COVID-19 epidemic.

Yes, I have ( somehow ) figured out so far that this must have been his first time playing the pipe organ. And...he plays it like he has been a pipe organist for years and years which is simply amazing. :')
when I see his face, my heart rejoices. health to you, handsome Man..

@@УважнийВІ Great. He is real. There are lots of us who admire him, all over the world. I don't work for him, but I have a site for his international fans, with news and info at sites.google.com/site/nobufans/
I have heard from the management of Nobuyuki Tsujii: "What Nobu played in the church in Bonn is his improvisation. Of course he might have gotten some influence from hymns, but anyway it was his improvisation."
Thankyou, somehow missed this, he must have been overwhelmed to play this organ, is there anything Nobu can’t do? He is so special! Xxxxx

Nobu has been filmed playing a pipe organ before -- he seems to take to it naturally, although playing an organ and a piano is quite different, I have been told. I find this piece comforting in these times of worries.
There is some debate on the piece that Nobu plays. I think it is a hymn, but some say it's an improvisation. If you recognize the piece, please let us know. Thank you.
No, I too would like to know the piece that Nobu plays in this video. I thought it's a hymn. If anyone knows, please speak up. In these troubled times, I find this performance comforting.

We have the answer. Straight from the management of Nobuyuki Tsujii 辻井伸行: "What Nobu played in the church in Bonn is his improvisation. Of course he might have gotten some influence from hymns, but anyway it was his improvisation." A nice tribute to Beethoven!
The background music in the beginning is Prelude no. 1 from Bach's "Well tempered klavier", and the church is one where Beethoven served in his youth. But the music played by Nobu in this video is his improvisation.
