Professor, one of the most challenging thing neotectonic studies or tectonic studies in general, is to recognise fault types in the field. E.g., in this video at 26.07 minutes, how could someone decide which block is hanging wall (HW) and which block is footwall(FW). If someone considers the FW in your example to be a HW and say it has moved down, thus, it is a normal fault. Would he or she be wrong? Why? Thank you, sir
