Hard for me to get away from the G5 Megameats… They’ve performed flawlessly for me. Blew thru a doe yesterday evening. She was quartering to me. Clipped the back of the shoulder blade and cut a chunk out of it, and exited the back of the ribs on the other side. 70 pound Prime Revex 4 with a 425gr Easton Sonic with 50gr brass insert. Like a hot knife thru butter. Dead in 6 or 8 seconds. Love the G5 broadheads and Prime bows!

Definitely switching to the dead meats this year and gonna try the megameats for x bow. Haven’t shot a 3 blade in a long time but these T2s look a lot like the Trypans that I’ve had a lot of success with

That durability and penetration proves nothing any projectile if straight will do exactly the same thing. Anyone who has witnessed a straw or small diameter straight stick or something similar blown by a tornado wind will show same or even greater results. That test only reveals a few examples of a good reliable hunting head. So many other factors to be tested and considered.

Nice review on the broadhead and how it's made but I was wondering why no time was spent on the blades.Even though the feral I's the backbone the blades are the workhorse of the head in my opinion.

I'm going to have to check out this T2 now. The fact that ferrule didn't bend after the weights smashed it like that on top of the aluminum is amazing. I just wonder about the blades. That's normally the issue with mechanicals.

A rebranded Rage with some better parts yeah still junk I will never trust the hunt of a life time with some stupid mechanical head give me a good cut on contact head like Iron Will or a tuff head. im sure they will sale great to all the folks who pick there bow up 2 weeks before season starts or the fanboys.. guess the PSE is no longer king of carbon and now its back to hoyts china carbon. well if they pay me id say they the best as well good on John for making his way.
