I can't get mine to change modes, truck batter and small 1.5 Ah LiFePO4 batt - just stays in 12 V normal - appears to work though, goes through it's cycle to solid green light.

I am not sure how you can even charge your drained dead battery from zero volts. My car battery was between 1-2 volts and G3500 cannot charge it until I can get the voltage higher by boosting the voltage with another working car by following the instructions from Noco website.

can i use it outdoor during winter around -40C?
@docmadhattan5 жыл бұрын
The manual says operating temp is as low as 0 degrees C, but I was looking for more info online and found this post on a forum. I would call Noco and speak to them directly if you're still wondering: "Called NOCO and the reason it says the operating temp only down to 32 degrees is that that don't want people trying to charge a frozen battery. I was told it's been tested down to -20. I asked if it will work at -40 and was told yes. He did say it would be a good idea to leave it plugged in to the outlet at cold temps because just being on will keep it warm."
@MrJewelicious5 жыл бұрын
reck0n3r i actually tried it myself and it did not work. I had to bring my battery inside the house to charge it. Thanks for your response!
@docmadhattan5 жыл бұрын
@@MrJewelicious That's great to know and keep in mind, appreciate the feedback! I haven't driven one of my cars in a year and it hasn't been able to start. It was recommended to me to pick up one of these. Just tried it today, seems the battery (it's an AGM battery) doesn't have enough of a charge to get picked up by the G3500, so I'll have to get someone to jump it first, and then let it charge. Looks like I should've gotten the NOCO GB40 first for my situation.

Hello, I'm a little confusing about that charger. It's my second charging in the 12V Norm mode unfortunately when the all of the LEDs have turned off the green light (100 %) never get solid only blinking? Is there something wrong with charger or battery?
@kirksmotorrad4 жыл бұрын
Usually it is the battery that wont take a full charge. Let it sit for an hour and then put it on a tester
@dariuszniejadlik47674 жыл бұрын
@@kirksmotorrad Thank you for a quick feedback. I'll try to test it with another one. It might be like you said . That looked as charger turn off LEDs when reached 100% (still pulse) then move to 'maintenance' step unfortunately indefinitely when battery is never topped off and fully charged.
