SUPER BIG TIP: if anyone wants to shower without a super long wait, go at the time the festival actually starts. Most people will be rushing over, leaving the showers super empty! Me and my gf waited 3 hours when we went Saturday at 10 AM. Sunday we only waited 20 minutes when we went at 4- 5 PM!

Yes it was our first time going and we had tent camping and we had no idea where to camp so we camped by the camping entrance for parking then we realized to late that there was more areas for our camp pass and yes the porter potties where we camped never got cleaned the poo was above the toilet lid!!!!!

If you’re so veteran then you’d learn to adapt and overcome these issues. Simply realize you’re CAMPING, shower with your camelbak water and avoid a 2 hour wait.....

No lie this was by far one of my most interesting nocturnals. I’ve been going to noc since 2015. Last year I did lakeside and told myself this year ima do it again. My crew decided to go in the corner of lakeside where the back of the trail kindA ends. If u k ow you know. The showers where we was where ok. Open 24hrs thank god. I heard some of the other showers closed at a certain time. The dust was normal for me. I am gonna miss this venue but yea. I think we all had our pros and cons. But that damn hill lmao

There are peak shower times! This happens at every camping festival. If you go in the morning at 8 - 9 am for food and shower you will have a better outcome. Also.. which campground sells alcohol? sign me up lol

When we arrived for car camping Friday is was a mess. I thought it would be assigned but luckily we found a good spot. For the crappy restroom situation and water park is say the vibes were still great! The showers by the RV were the way to go. At one point the women took over one of the men's leaving us with one less but then some showers became co ed. Crazy.

Got there at 1pm easy get in easy got my spot. Took my own food so no need to wait in line. Didnt sleep went to shower at 6am no wait. Snuck in 3 bottles. Heat was bad but can blame no one.

For finding tent spaces: my group had same issue, we got a spot, then insomniac ppl came and said we were in the walkway, that if we didn't move they would have to take our wristbands away. But the second day we walked around. So many other ppl had set up tents in the "walkways", nothing was done about it. So we moved for no reason. 2. Showers. We didn't take a shower either day, we just used a make shift shower. We used water we got n just used soap, rinsed our bodies with the water, wasn't clean clean but better than not rinsing for 2 days. 3 lines. We didn't go to any of the attractions either, becuz of the lines (except for the silent disco day 2, I went n got in earlier cuz I left n got back to camp early)

Stay at a hotel in Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga or San Bernardino. 30+ minutes without traffic is the closest you’re gonna get tbh. I would highly recommend camping

Me and my rave fam did car camping again like last year. The big difference was the workers wasn't helping to assign spots so you basically had to find a location yourself. We were lucky to find a spot under some trees to avoid to heat. I brought my grill to cook because I didn't want to waste money and stand in those long lines for food. The after parties took forever to get into because it was a massive amount of people. Serious overcrowding I believe. Nocturnal the event was dope though. Saturday my top 3 picks were Subtronics, Ganja White Night, and Zeds Dead. On Sunday it was Peekaboo, Malaa, and G. Jones.

My issues with Nocturnal this year: sound bleed/sound quality at main stage sucked, traffic/parking took 2 hours to get in and out, when I was exiting Saturday I was stopped on that extremely steep hill for about 20 min because they hadn't opened to gate to let us out, and ended too early. Otherwise it was a good time and everyone was super nice

Hey cotton candy! I’ve been loving and watching your videos for a while. I went to nocturnal solo both days and had a kick ass time, met with some friends in the camping area but didn’t camp. I can see my totem in a few of your videos, it’s the LED dolphin totem. I was mostly at the Labrynth stage. Black tiger sex machine, zeds dead, subtronics, Alan walker, and Zomboy killed it! Hope to join one of your meetups sometime. I’ll be at escape!

Ive been to nocturnal the past 3 years and have been at this venue for beyond as well. I knew the dust was bad but for some reason this year I REALLY struggled with it bad. I was having to use an inhaler and I never do. I ended up getting a bad respiratory infection from it. Im not sure why this year it seemed worse than prior years (for me at least). It was rough. But that was my only complaint aside from it being toasty out. At least I didn’t freeze this year!

Ill add however wolves den sound was off. Not the whole time but it was back and forth. I also didnt care for the placement of sunken garden. I wish they had placed sunken garden where labyrinth was last year. I think it would have been better for walkway/crowd issue/noise bleed.

The traffic on the freeway going up to the festival was terrible, my shuttle left from Ontario/Rancho Cucamonga which wasn’t really that far from the venue, but it took two hours. People were literally getting out of their lyfts and Uber’s on the freeway to walk to the venue. The walk from the shuttle to the venue was like a 20 minute walk and it was a battle to get my ticket from will call. Luckily I had snap shotted my ticket because they needed to scan it in the dark and their ticket scanner wasn’t able to scan my ticket at first, so if you were on of those people that was trying to find your ticket online and in your email you would have been shit out of luck because there was absolutely no internet service. The climb up the entrance to where the festival evened out looked like an ant hill with thousands and thousands of people trying to figure out where everything was. If you weren’t hip to the skip and noticed all the bar/ food venders tucked off to the side of the stages and just hit the first stand you seen for a drink or a snack you, like me would have gotten caught up in an hour long wait for a cocktail. The bathrooms were so so, I honestly think other than there being no TP, it was ok for the amount of people that were at the venue. Once I got to the Alan Walker stage. It kinda chilled out and everyone for the most part was able to find a spot and chill. There was definitely some sound bleeding if you were on the outskirts of the stage and not tucked in the middle. All in all it was a great show even though it seemed like I was there for only 2-3 hours. Deoro and Alan Walker killed it! They definitely made my night. I forgot who played after Alan Walker but that DJ did an amazing job as well. The walk back to our shuttle was a drag but once we got on our bus and back on the rode the drive back home was a fraction of the wait time it took to get to the festival. Looking forward to their next venue. Definitely bring a dust mask or two. PLUR!

It was soooo hot, definitely day two was better and so much more bearable. I think the camping situation was a flop, although I did have a great time it definitely was logistical of their end. Also I can't believe they were selling boba, that was pretty awesome lol. My favorite sets were joyryde, btsm, and camelphat b2b solardo. def gonna check out next years new venue :]

Shower lines were bad i agree! Setup was chaotic but the festival was absolutely amazing i would not say it was bad whatsoever. Chilled at the water park all day then came down when the music started omg silent disco was the greatest shit ever! i never danced so much in my life :) Zeds dead/ subtronics was amazing!

That sucks you didn’t have the greatest time at camping :( I went and I had a blast. We did car camping and we got a great spot (they were sectioned off). The food and shower lines were honestly pretty decent, nothing too crazy. I knew it wouldn’t exactly be fast so I just talked to the people in line and the time flew. Everyone’s experience is different tho!

Each morning I woke up at 6am in search of the showers because I knew they were going to get busy fast after they announced more car camping passes were going to be release. I think when they added those passes they literally didn’t change anything about the camping to accommodate for all those people. I also just peed outside the whole time because those toilets were SOOOOO AWFUL!!!!!! I cannot even stress that enough. I guess people don’t know how to make it???? Absolutely horrifying

They definitely oversold this festival. And they have downsized over the years as well. Nocturnal is my favorite festival but I was really disappointed in 2019. Way too many people and the camping was over crowded. Felt like a money grab more than an insomniac festival. I have tickets for 2021, hoping they bounce back from 2019.

Parking was the worst I've ever seen. Been to so many raves but parking took like 2 hours to get out cause of the freeway exit being closed and no workers or security helping. Feel like since your always camping you forget to mention the drive getting there and parking problems. Insomniac still doesn't know how to handle parking and that's sad.

Your camping experience sounds very much like mine at Tomorrowworld 2014🤣 no marked spots... I was that person arriving at night and we almost set up our whole tent before being told NOPE can’t do it here. We ended up squeezing into a spot between tents and the next morning the people were like wtf where did u guys come from haha. I’m not sure if you ever made it there but you can imagine what a shit show that was.. great experience nonetheless.
