@@lukeblackstone261 sorry my English was trash back then and I'm just started listening to 19th century music back then. The reason I commented that was the complexity of classical music confuses me, there's a lot of different emotion in one piece unlike music nowadays.
@Axelelelel2 жыл бұрын
@@lukeblackstone261 but it's all make sense now... Now I'm addicted to Chopin's late works such as 4th ballade, barcarolle, op 62 nocturnes, cello sonata (especially 1st movement), berceuse, late mazurkas. Even his unknown works such as 17 songs (yes song, not piece... They have lyrics)

@abookthief61647 жыл бұрын
I play the piano, too, and I totally know what you mean. I have plans to try and learn all of Chopin's nocturnes, but right now I'm stuck on Hungarian Rhapsody no. 2 by Liszt. I don't exactly know what I'm going to name it yet - I'll probably know when I'm done. I'm thinking about A Pianist's Night or Memories of a Pianist, but I think the name just depends on how the book is executed. I'll probably name it in the end.

@rampgamercracka42585 жыл бұрын
@@chintarou1150 Well I'm sorry to hear that-- if the reason you are learning a Nocturne is for a competition, the most statistically successful Nocturnes are Opus. 55 No. 1 and Opus. 55 No. 2. If rythmic differentiation is particularly challenging for you, I would also recommend a perpetuum mobile piece, like Preludes 1, 16, or 20, or Etudes Op. 25 No. 10 Or Op. 10 No. 4, or even Op. 10 No. 10. Hope I was of help

There’s a bit of irregularity, but that’s just rubato and is to be expected in Chopin. I have experienced what too much rubato is like. A moderate amount and it adds expression. Too much, especially at a fast tempo and it ruins the piece. What composer did I experience this with you may be asking? Well I experienced it with Beethoven of all people. In my opinion, a very fast Beethoven piece like Rondo a Capriccio shouldn’t have any rubato whatsoever, strict tempo.
