Noel Fisher adds such beauty to this show. Honestly, seasons 4 and 5 with him (and Cameron) were spectacular. Season 8 was a chore to watch without him. When he came back briefly for S9 and then fully for S10, I felt like he breathed life into the show again. Such a spectacular character, and actor to play him.

Noel Fisher deserves so much credit for breathing life into Mickey and playing him with so much passion and heart. He should be commended to for mentoring Cameron who is ten years his junior and was still a teenager when Shameless started. You have to have a lot of trust in your co-stars to be as vulnerable as these two guys have been for ten seasons. And although neither one of them is actually gay you wouldn't know it from the way they interact on screen. They're fully committed to their roles and it is quite beautiful to watch.

After season 8 ended, I've kind of been feeling detached from shameless, and I had finally gotten Gallavich out of my system, but then clips like this come up, just any clip from early season and I'm liked sucked back in, and I miss Mickey. I'm not mad at the direction the show went, I mean people change, but some stories were just badly handled, the Gallavich one especially. I'm not saying like oh Mickey should've never left, but like, it could've been more respectful to him. S6 writers were dicks

I hated the break up. They should have been able to enjoy that steak dinner in season 5!!!! If Mickey comes back after the season 8 Ian gay-jesus disaster, my hope is that it's not a stupid story line and it's not that easy for Ian to reunite with Mickey (but they do by episode 5). Mickey deserves a chance with Ian when he's in control of his disorder. Oh and let Mickey have a relationship with Yevgeny too.

DLeft Feel i don’t think there is a real chance for mickey to come back to america , considering the fact that he’s a criminal and all that jazz . if he’s able to get fake documents and maybe lay low and come back then , that can make for a really fun storyline , with maybe someone being after him and trying to prove that he’a actually mickey and not whatever his documents say , considering how much shameless loves drama . though , i really don’t see them bringing noel back full time , i’m gonna be honest . there *is* always a fun alternative of ian going to prison and running away to mexico as well , which could lead to them meeting and living there together and freely instead .

There's every possibility that Mickey can come back. Think of how defensive they are when asked "He's busy, he's on a different show" yet they give no extra attention to Cameron who's on Gotham as well. Remember in season four finale when JimmySteve came back, that was a complete surprise. Even the cast didn't know about that. I still have hope they bring back Mickey simply because who else is Ian going to end up with? "Sometimes when people love each other very much they need time apart so when they come back together their love is even stronger" ~Sheila Expecially with Ian's current plot line, think of how surprised Mickey is seeing Gay Jesus clips. I bet ya he can tell Ian's off his meds or something. He knows and it's hard to think he's sitting by to watch. Let's be honest he's the type to stalk his ex's
