As a child visiting my grandparents in Rusholme, I would meet up with Noel and Liam on the red gravel parking lot, close to Main Road. Their father beat their mother, Paul (the eldest) and Noel. They all left the father before Liam was subjected to that abuse as he was quite young. I think Liam has always been jealous of Noel and hasn’t been able to reconcile that. He was constantly dive bombing Oasis’ career with his behavior of not wanting to play crucial concert dates and party trouble. If you notice in interviews Liam calls that being “rock and roll.”
