I have had good experience with windows defender because my mum accidentally downloaded a virus one time on my pc when i wanted to install a game but luckily windows defender picked it up and blocked the files

So if you wanna activate thepayload of sept 18th, youll have to open a web browser like brave, edge, google, etc... And it will open a notepad and will say "DO NOT TRY TO CLOSE THIS WINDOW, YOUR COMPUTER IS NOW DONE FOR ANYWAY, DO YOU WANNA ENJOY THE LAST MINUTES USING THIS COMPUTER?" if you type yes, it would say "GOOD LUCK" and tries its best to make the pc unusable, if you type "no" it would BSOD and makes it so that the C: Drive is unaccessible (unless ofc you have a win PE and fixed the bootloader)

first of all, let's take a look at this comment section. this comment section is too praising. i doubt that any comment praising WD knows that enderman set it up for any AV to delete it basically, windows defender easily got it because enderman set it up not because WD is the best but it just knew that second, you can't even fix that OS even if you reactivated that shit, probably because it comes back after a fresh reinstall third, most of the comments can't even spell correctly so i think they're 6 year olds who don't even know how computers work or they're just new to english ( no offense) fourth, i think the owner didn't listen in the class " how to use NoEscape.Exe 101" cause you need to open a browser of some sort to activate a payload fifth, windows is help by tape, most of windows (literally is either an uwp, unguarded system files blah blah blah)) sixth, also agreeing with number 5 is that WD is literal dumpster fire if you think really big, it compares really worse to avg, (but still some illiterate ones of use use avg, like a dude a few below but since it messes things up avg is also trash) if avg is trash then WD is also trash, that's why _IT'S A DEFAULT._ it's literally DIY antivirus, that's why edge and cortana is shit too if you think about it cortana is non uninstallable "voice agent helper" which makes zero sense cause it compared to Siri is shit. Anti virus can't save you from viruses, but you can save yourself from them. So you don't need a premium antivirus for things, just be sure to be aware of what you download.
