I think this is the best tutorial ever. It's about to love your natural beauty with only skin care. Some people are so rude. I believe that if one is willing to take 30 minutes to find a filter and fix your flaws on a picture and let people see it for 30 seconds, why not that that 30 minutes to actually cleanse and take care of the face like she advise and use no filter and no touch up to cover the flaws afterwards. Besides, then the beautiful skin can be seen for a long time because it'll always look flawless. I'm not saying that I don't use filter at times nor that my skin is perfect, but I believe if Michelle is willing to do this video and give advice for those who wants and needs it, we should all be grateful. Those who can't go one day without making a rude comment should just keep quit. Beside, I believe we can never stop learning to better ourselves, whether it is through knowledge or through finding beauty and loving ourselves. So regardless of what anyone say, I believe Michelle should keep it up. And I like it when she talks better. I don't like the voice over but of course, I don't really mind. :)) keep it up Michelle and enjoy! :))

Michelle, I've been watching your vids since you used to film them in your Florida room. honestly I didn't watch for your makeup tutorials mainly because I'm black and pretty much almost all of your looks just dont work for me and that's fine because I LOVED watching them your other vids anyways. I love all your videos! I also appreciate that you never over-do contouring and highlighting, whenever you use those techniques in other videos. I feel a lot of beauty gurus are starting to look more masculine because they are going crazy with the contouring and highlighting! It is a great technique to know and master, but a lot of the time, just a little bit goes a long way. You have shown me that, and I am thankful. You're amazing!

I really like the editing and voice over in this video! Awesome job! I do have a question though I have Urban Decay liquid foundation in number 6 but when I take photos and the flash is on leaves my face white! Is there anyway I can fix this problem? I though maybe a dark powder but I didn't want to buy anything till I got advice first.

If there is SPF in the foundation or your moisturizer that would be it. SPF tends to not translate well in flash photography.

It may be the flash of the camera. If you have an iPhone when you click on the camera app it will have a lightning Bolt in the upper left hand camera if you turn that off your face won't look as washed out. If its someone else's camera and you can't control the setting add some bronzer and highlighter :)

Just try to not wash it everyday, dont use any heat at this moment. 1.) Before going in the shower get some hair cream that will help damaged hair and soften your hair. 2.) when washing use a special damaged hair shampoo 3.) use a conditioner 4.) leave in conditioner 5.) comb your hair, dont use any other brush because they start to damage your hair a lot more. 6.) Its important to eat healthy with a good balanced diet, with all of that going on you will see a huge difference! But I still recommend trimming your hair And if you have split ends, the only way they will get fixed is if you just cut them off.

Many of us have watched Michelle for the last six years. I don't understand why some of her viewers say 'you've changed' because of fame, business, or what ever it might be. Is an individual not allowed to change? I surely don't remember how I was six years ago so why are you guys unhappy that she can't remember how she was half a decade ago, and make sure she stays exactly the same for the next twenty years to come just because her subscribers want her to? Sure, her subscribers 'helped' her, but was it solely from our assistance that she has reached this far? No, obviously not. The majority of the effort was through her hard work and determination. All we did from the last couple of years was watch her videos. Once we realized she had too much attention we tried to label and OWN her progress, upset that she made it big without showing much gratitude. It may sound like a slap from reality, but at the end of the day it's her life and happiness she wants to worry about not us. She is already putting aside time from her busy life to cater to us, so we shouldn't blame her when she sticks some of her products in her videos. I don't feel bothered at all when she promotes her line. She can do what ever the hell she wants and I'll still watch her.

If she had not properly lit video you wouldn't be able to see the subtle differences in her skin as the video progressed. Also people would have complained about bad lighting. Her skin has also improved over the years. She's not deceiving anyone by having good lighting even though light can distort the percieved texture of skin. Her dark spots weren't hidden her broken capillaries were on full display.. While they may not be as bad as they were in the past they're still her imperfections.

I prefer your voice-over to your voice-sync here - its not 110% in sync, and makes it a bit (bad) commercial like, but its a nice try :) And your happy mood is the same as always, so refreshing :) I'm one of those that looks best with a bit of dark circles - wihtout them I look like a dead person - all drained for blood ^^" I also prefer my natural flawed skin over the bad flaky foundation cover my dry flaky skin creates. just like fashion gurus, you use beauty guru videos as a guideline. Never do you have to use the products that they use. They're just helping as a step by step guide on what to do but you should use products you're comfortable with. Even if they're promoting stuff, that doesn't force you to use it. It's called google, why don't you google products that fits your skin type and try it out. For the people saying they don't have time for this, you don't have time to take care of your skin??? Cleanser & face cream, seriously that's all you need to take care of your face. Whether or not you like it, michelle phan is still a business woman and business is what she shall do.
