It’s such a shame that Michelle doesn’t make videos anymore. I understand that she lost her passion for it and of course her mental health is the most important thing, but her videos are so high quality and just a pure joy to watch. It’s been years and I still haven’t found any other beauty KZbinr who’s videos I enjoy watching as much as hers.

Danny Hidalgo i agree 1000% its a shame we lost a legendary beauty and makeup guru and i dont think anyone right now will be as good as her.now most beauty gurus makes review which is good because we need someone to tell which product is good or not but stillll i miss michelee and her wonderful fun video about makeup looks,skin care and all. :')

@@vsaesang2632 ??? I'm still confused. I only know that she got sued for copyright over using certain music on her past KZbin videos and she left yt for awhile because her first makeup brand failed, so she wanted a break to fix it but also to focus on her mental health. I never heard anything of her being a scammer or being in prison?

Min Tran she did fraudulence, financial issues with the government that she did on purpose to gain more money, and her makeup brand became a failure due to two of those things plus issues with money with people she manufactured her brand

Honestly, what works best for anybody are staright up organic and all around natural products. I'm a little skin freak and believe me when I tell you that "less is more" when it comes to your skin. When you use too many products on your skin you, first of all, destroy the natural flora of your skin and, second of all, make your skin dependent on products and your skin won't be able to regenerate itself. I try and use as few as possible when it comes to skin products, and the ones I use are all natural, plus I also try to nourish my skin with all the things I put INTO my body- drinking lots of water, eating healty etc. Be kind to your skin!
@SaraPriscila3

I completely agree! I spent years trying a lot of different creams and I didn't drink water at all. Last year, I gave up the creams because I though nothing would ever work on me and guess what, my skin has never been so healthy and beautiful. No more acne, no more shame. :) oh, and I drink only water and tea now

@JewelCookie123
@JewelCookie123 9 жыл бұрын
Nikki S it depends on the types of zits. if it's one with pus that you can see, I usually squeeze those. then apply pimple cream (i use clerasil) and have an early night, it works for me after a few days :)

Why so much hate? She's just sharing her skin routine, products she use on daily basis, it's up to you if you wanna use the same stuff or not, she's not forcing you to buy the same thing, just sharing what works on her skin :) I personally find this video very helpful, not gonna buy the same products, but taking notes on what your skin should get, then find other products that suits my skin

If you ask me, The most amazing thing about Michelle is her RESILIENCE.When people are talking about how expensive the products she uses on her old videos, she made a solution and made her own make up line. Then when she was sued for copyright infringement, she was like, "OH YOU'RE SUING ME FOR GIVING YOUR MUSIC EXPOSURE? NO PROBLEM. LEMME OPEN MY OWN MUSIC LABEL." I will not be shocked if the next thing she does is open a skincare line. Whatever she does, there will always be haters because the more successful you are, the more people will try to bring you down. And for her resilience, I APPLAUD HER AND SHE TOTALLY INSPIRES ME TO PURSUE ALL MY DREAMS AND TO TAKE ACTION. THANK YOU MISH!!!

I just feel like I watched an ad... It's good when she gives advises about good products but sometimes her products are really expensive, or you can't find them anywhere. And really, that's boring to see a 12 minutes long video when 8 minutes of it is full of "you can use that brand bla bla bla"... But that's my personal opinion, I don't want hateful comments because I like Michelle's videos, but sometimes she is "too" professional. It just looks like she's not a "normal" person anymore, but a big celebrity. Most of her makeup videos are not wearable, and most of the products she shows are not cheap. I know if you want a good product you have to pay the price, but I don't want to spend 50 dollars or euros every month in a cream or a cleanser, or in a mascara.

she basically just made a whole video about her skincare on relatively cheap products, not just about skincare products but using foods that are high in nutrients which is great for the skin, e.g. honey, olive oil. and she gave other alternatives such as cat litter to emphasise that you DONT need to spend a whole lot of money just to treat your skin. you obviously didn't watch the video all the way through or else she would've gotten that message across to you. and also some of the skincare products she did use, e.g. the face mask from innisfree is not high end and is considered like a drugstore product. when youtubers show you products, theyre not throwing them at you and saying you HAVE to buy it. it wont necessarily even work for your skin! there are ALOT Of cheap alternatives if you did your research. don't need to bash on Michelle. and of course shes changed. everyone does. do you expect a person to stay the same throughout their life? be reasonable.

"thats boring to see a 12 minute long video talking about 'you can buy this brand blah blah'". Michelle didn't ONLY just talk about brands. yes, I can read thanks and thats what she wrote.
@wOwmOusse

I didn't say that for THAT video in particular, she does that in all of her videos. For the makeup too. And in the videos where she shows gadgets and other things that we would never buy, because it's useless, or expensive, or both. I watched the whole video don't worry, and I don't have to love all her videos and to say amen to all she says. I can say whatever I want as long as it's not to insult her, which is not the case. Of course people change, but it's only good if it's in a positive way. But the point of making youtube videos is to show people what they can do when they're not professional, and when they're not billionaire. And that's not the point of her videos anymore. Now I just see like "hey look, I have a book, I have my brand but you can do it if you try bla bla bla". I'm not here to learn how to have my own company, and how to write a book, I'm just here to have advises that I can actually use. So the thing is if you're rich you can use super bad-ass products, otherwise, just use what's in your fridge, because there is nothing else we can do for you? So maybe SOMETIMES she shows what you can do if you don't have a lot of money/time/... but most of the time, she shows makeup that nobody wears, or advises that kind of suck: "how to make friend" -> really ? Do you really think there are five steps to make friends? The only solution to make friends is: SPEAK with people. Don't need a 6 minutes video to learn that. I don't want people to say I'm jealous or I don't know what because it's good for her if she has money, a company, and all she wants, but she has that thanks to her followers, so maybe it would be great to realize that we're not like her. And she should understand that, because I guess she wasn't rich and well-known when she starts. Sorry if there are mistakes, english is not my first language.

Also you didn't read my comment. Everytime I give my opinion on Michelle's video people are only pointing out the negative things and they don't let them in their context. I said I like Michelle's videos anyway. And MOST OF THE TIME. I didn't say "she sucks, all of her videos are crap, I hate her", I said "most of the products", "I know if you want a good product you have to pay the price", "it's good when she gives advises about good products", "it's boring to see a 12 minutes long videos, when EIGHT MINUTES OF IT IS FULL OF(...)". (by the way this is a metaphor, of course I know it's not only what her video is about, but it's just to exaggerate). So, read my comment one more time. I also said I didn't want hateful comments. I just gave my opinion, which is the point of the comment section, so relax.

For anyone that loves oils for the skin, I also highly recommended trying raw, cold pressed avocado oil. Keep in mind, I have acne prone skin but this stuff is amazing. It doesn't break me out. Now of course I must add that everyone is different and some may have different experiences but I love how it's diminished any lines I had, it makes my skin so nice and smooth and it helps with hyper pigmentation. I use it for my face and body. I have low-porosity hair so I can't use it in my hair because it just sits on top of the follicle weighing my hair down but it works great on my skin. Really enjoyed this video! 👍🏼

I have noticed, out of what I've experimented with, Jojoba works great. I have tried coconut, sesame, almond, and the avocado oil and they all just sit on top of the hair shaft making my hair look dirty and weighed down. I notice it works best when I "seal" after showering. I wash once a week using shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioner from the Calia brand, and then after, while my hair is wet but not dripping wet, I oil the ends and shafts of my hair with Living Libations Seabuckthorn Best Skin Ever. It's a Jojoba base with other essential oils mixed in and my hair's never been softer, more under control and shinier than now. I also oil the ends a bit before bed every other night in-between washes. I started sleeping on satin pillow cases rather than cotton because cotton absorbs oil and makes hair frizzier. I believe any Jojoba would be just fine, just make sure its pure and good quality. I know I wrote a book but I know how challenging it can be dealing with hair like ours so I wanted to share what all has worked for me. I hope this helps. =)

Watching Michelle Phan's videos for years taught me that spending hundreds of dollars on a single skincare product is NOT going to give you perfect baby skin...I've seen it from watching her videos. I opted for using more cheaper, natural alternatives... I found that olive oil is too heavy for my liking, and recently found out that coconut is a godsend for removing my makeup! I use witch hazel as a toner (Thayer's rosewater witch hazel smells a lot better) and then I hydrate with a light touch of Rosehip Seed Oil. This oil is amazing. Thank you for this video Michelle! It's so different from your last skincare video... I'm really interested in the honey mask now :) I wonder if rubbing regular honey has similar effect lol but I'll probably scavenge my nearest wholefood in search of organic raw honey!

And I remember not really using any moisturizers such as lotion, and I don't remember having to wash my face a lot either. One day I got this bump on my face, and I couldn't tell if it was a pimple.. I thought it was a bite or something, and my mom told me I should use a face wash. I used this Loreal Go 360 Clean, and ever since my face dries out pretty quickly and it's flaky.. Now I have to resort too one of these products, because I trust Michelle but I'm not sure which one too use

I don't get why people don't advise people with acne/skin problems to go to the doctors to get them to give you spot treatments. Prescription topical treatments are so much more effective than anything you can buy in a shop because they have ingredients that aren't allowed to be sold openly to the public. Seriously, I had bad spots and the stuff my doctor gave me means that my skin has been clear for nearly a year now! I don't need to buy expensive silly products which only work for some people.

Salicylic acid only works sometimes, I and many others have bought "fragrance free, salicylic acid, oil free etc etc" products before and they haven't worked, zinc and other more intensive ingredients which cannot be sold openly are found in prescription products, hence their higher satisfaction rate.
