Looks like the great lakes have become better fishing than the was coast. I wish I could move to Wisconsin or Michigan and afford to buy a nice boat.

A good wind forecasting app is a must for big water anglers!

I've done a lot of fishing in my 83 years, watched a lot of videos by many others and have to say with out a doubt, your videos and approach to informing others are the best around. Keep up the good work teaching others on "how to do it". We can always learn something from others. I even turned my grandkids on to watching your videos. Thanks for sharing.

Underwater footage was great loved seeing how the flasher split those alewife. Been slow up here on north shore of Superior for salmon too just starting to pick up.

Only saw two fish in two hours of footage. We caught the one I showed. It went up 40 feet and hit the SWR rigger. Good luck on your next adventure.

Great video as usual. Just put the app on my phone so thanks for another great tip. Jealous of that many salmon bites. They have been hard to come by this yr.

Thanks for that great info. It makes a huge difference when you know the wind pattern. I also used the info you sent me last week about the spin doctor and meat rigs we did really well, but no Salmon only Lake Trout and 2 Rainbows. 13 in total so we had a good day. Thank-you for your help. Mike.

Looks like a good day on the water.. WE are still on the big Zero for kings here in East Grand Traverse Bay , Mat try for coho in the paltte . What do you use for Coho if i can pick your brain a little

Alot of people like to jig for them put there. Jigging spoons... From what I know anyways..... Good luck, I'll be up there in 2 weeks Fishing the Betsie & Platte rivers...
@NoFishNicksAdventures5 жыл бұрын
I never just targeted Coho so In the past I would run a heavy meat spread with some spoons mixed in and vary the speed until I found what they wanted. Most guys that target coho on this side use peanut flies with small dodgers but that is usually the southern half of the lake. Good luck on your adventure.

Put your trolling motor down and hit auto pilot use the kicker for speed and the auto pilot for direction controller when landing the fish

Yeah I kept it in until the chop calmed down a bit. If you watch the second half of the video you will see it down.

No netter Nick, you have a fan base. Please don't show the netting misadventures, for it tarnishes the legend. Soon the autograph signing sessions will dry up. :) .....nice outting. :)

Great job 👍. Watch many of your videos, I'm pretty new at this big water fishing. Did you say your from the plover area ?? I'm from Marshfield. I went to Algoma last week twice and got skunked. Early in week went to Bailey's and nothing. Pretty rough out around 150 feet
@NoFishNicksAdventures5 жыл бұрын
Yes I live in Plover. Keep at it and you will catch some. Our morning spread that was working was Spoons on the riggers flasher flies on the dipsey's. Both rigger rods were SW rigs (two colors of leadcore line with 15 ft of 25# flourcarbon leader).
@michaelnoeldner3795 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the Info Nick, no doubt I'll keep trying. To much $ invested now. Hopefully you can give me a shout when you head to the big water. We can tag team these big Kings with both our Riggs. I've just downloaded that app and thanks so much.
