Umm. Keep your feet light? I use this technique as well and keeping a light foot help a little. Try adjusting your spring tension as well

My old band had this thing we would do at practices. It was called joke speed.... Oddly enough . it became our actual speed for live shows.. Then a new joke speed would come along., then That would become our actual speed. By the time we stopped making it our actual live speed. It was way too fast to comprehend what was going on hahahhaa. love the video , totally reminds me of the shit my old band and I used to do for kicks.
