Kid goku is like 10 years old and they always give him a deep voice. They did good with Stephanie Nadolny, Saffron Henderson, Brianne Siddall & Barbara Goodson. Instead of rehiring these amazing actresses, they hire a completely new person that doesn't match Goku's child-like voice...

Btw Kid Goku is actually 15 during the fight against Demon King Piccolo. Remember, his 3 year training. Cuz he was confirmed 12 during the beginning of DB. It’s due to his Saiyan biology that he looks younger. They take longer to age compared to humans.
