I literally thought I lost any semblance of my original accent, and then the moment I went to visit fam, I discovered I had of it in me. like I was surprised but loved it. now I'm back home and incredibly sad I can't replicate it anymore. i wish I could just switch it on and off when I want but I have to be surrounded by it and actively use it to do so.

There were done experiments with "disguises" and without disguises and with or without belligerent behaviour towards them. Basically the crows attacked the human who was treating them bad when they saw the same face again much later. Edit: They're also masters of using tools, at least comparatively within the avian group. They can solve complex "riddles" and are very adept at problem solving.

The guy that went to sentenial island didn't get cannibalised. They killed him and left his body on the beach so others would think twice. They did this because the first and only time they allowed colonisers onto their island they kidnapped two kids, they both got really sick because their bodies weren't used to the environment. One of the children passed away, and they sent the second one back home. The second, still ill child then spread the sickness throughout the island killing most of the population. That is why they attack anyone that comes close. Everyone should just leave them alone, like they want to be.

The one about the Soviet era, was actually called the Russian experiment. Now there is a lot of conflict between if it is real or not, but what it actually was a 30 day long experiment where they kept people up seeing what would happen and wouldn’t let them get any rest for 30 days. It was said after 4 days of no sleep and no rest they went completely insane, after 7 days they started changing appearance. Iirc it was later learned to have been faked and the images that had been used for it actually came from some horror artist or something? So yeah pretty sure it's a creepypasta, HOWEVER, what happens in the story is basically what is/was theorized to actually be how (average) humans would react to going completely sleepless and mostly malnourished for a long period of time, I do believe.

About the crow video : Yes, crows can actually talk, although not without a slight physical trauma. They way they can do it is only after their jaw has been unhinged. They speak way better than parrots too, overall proven to be way smarter and with a far superior memory. Some have been documented having a legitimate small conversations with humans.
